CONGRATULATIONS on your featured photo of the day, "Food for Darfur" and thanks to Diana Donovan, Editorial Director, for bringing this to all of us! ... Tracy, your dedication to helping the people of the Sudan is wonderful, admirable and all the rest of the adjectives that fit your situation. Most of us only have access to what is in the news and we all know it is so often 'slanted'. Thank you for sharing the faces of the children and adults. Seeing you and your team spread out on the ground working with the people is heart-warming. I saw the little building you slept in and wondered if you feared for your safety at night. Did you encounter the "night walkers" while there? What a horrible plight for the children and their families. ... I do hope you will enjoy reading your 'mail' following the posting of your raining 'food'. You are the star today, shining in the WS *spotlight *.
< center> Prayers for you from Judy aka L@dybug, Florida</ center>

Congratulations on the photo of the day. I bet when you took it back then you had no idea it would be shown to the world like this. This is one thing I really like about Webshots, being in touch globaly with such a variey of images. I have really enjoyed looking through all of your albums. What an experience to actually be there, see these animals in the wild, to be accepted by the people and to be able to help. You must have many memories all while living with the people in such hardship. Regards from poppy in the land down under (Australia)

Your portraits of Darfur residents are some of the most important photos available to this community because they reveal the human and the divine in crisis. Many thanks for your commitment to humanitarian aid, and for sharing such compelling reminders of our vulnerability.
