These are great pictures of Basalt through the fall and winter seasons and the picturesque Roaring Forks that I remember from my visit. Now I long to return for a visit to this area where time seems to stand still. Margie

My name is April and I grew up in the Roaring Fork Valley. I lived on Willits Lane for many eyars while attending school in Basalt. My dad used to work at the Highway Department barn there on Willits Lane. Your pictures bring back many wonderful memories for me :) I was just out there for a visit in February of this year and my how it'sw changed since I left there 5 years ago (I'm now in Phoenix, AZ area).
