• G'day Gladys - wow I love the grasstrees' sunset - so Aussie! Are the cloud reflections on those buildings in Pert CBD? Great observation to think to take the clouds this way - and the turbulent clouds in Nov 23e are awesome. I loved all these sky paintings thank you. I really appreciated your titles tip - I'm normally really careful about proofreading but missed that lot so was thankful you let me know. Have a great weekend, Lorraine

 • Hi Gladys! When you go to the perfect page, you will need to register. Just below the forum logo is an orange bar with a drop menu on it, and below that you will see... "Welcome Guest ( Log In | Register )". Just click on register and fill out the form with your user name, password, and a valid email address. That's all there is to it. Just a typical forum registration page. I'm sorry Firefox gave you problems. It does take some getting used to. I have version 1.04 and I have to use it for some pages, but I too prefer IE. My friend Jeff can help you sort it out though. He's almost a Firefox expert...

 • Oops... I forgot to say to look for Ax Slinger. You can find me easy by looking at the moderating team link, or just looking around the forum.

 • Hi again, Gladys! Ya know, this trading messages via guestbooks is a bit of a pain. If you want to stop by a forum I work on it might be a bit easier for us... http://theperfectpage.org/bb It's an IPB mod forum, but it's a forum. Which is much better than blogs and guestbooks. :)

 • Hi Gladys... Lovely sunsets you have here! I posted a reply to you in that stupid blog... But I made a couple of typos which of course you can't fix once you post it. When I said "One thing I was all about it is that if there is a website that causes problems with IE..." I meant to say "One other thing about it is that if there is a website that causes problems with IE..." Oh well, if we keep hinting to Webshots that we need a forum, maybe they will listen, but I doubt it! Maybe we should create dummy Galleries, so we can use the Guestbook for them as a mini-forum? But even then, these things have a lot of the same problems as the blog does. I wish the forum I set up for Webshots members would have been more successful...

 • Hi Gladys, Do you know I have been taking pictures of some unusual clouds and skys for the past few months, but nothing as dramatic as these you have found, simply awesome, #88 and 89 particularly, my goodness the skys over Australia must be special. Thank you for your kind words in my little tribute to Nelson, I was born in Norfolk myself so he is a bit of a hero of mine, as I was also in the Royal Navy. Take care and best wishes Ken

 • Dear Gladys: So now you have taken me to Western Australia to see your skies..! I too am a lover of sky and clouds; get a sense of peace looking up there often. This is an amazing album. Difficult to choose any one photo as a favourite but do like:8/27c, 11/23a, the reflected clouds in the buildings glass is so clever and another neat thing I noticed while in slideshow was, when I go back and forth between 27b and 27c, the clouds actually 'move' as in a movie. Thanks again for a lovely trip to paradise. Barb/Chicago

 • Hi Gladys Thank you for viewing my featured album Perfect Winter Day in Minnesota. Very nice comments, also. These photos are absolutely astounding! You have captured so many varieties and colors and the storm clouds are beautiful. Did you get a storm out them? Love this album Sharon

 • Hello Gladys, ...and I thought you only dealt with all the beauty of flowers in your many albums, but I see that you're spreading your shooting over a bigger area. The 11/23 cloud picture is beautiful, shows a lot of moving around, maybe a storm on the rise? Thanks for this showing and a nice album to boot. Ron/Oregon Coast

 • Hello Gladys! Beautiful new additions! So nice clouds behind the dark silhouettes in 93 to 97! The roses look beautiful, the smoke gives a special mood! Thanks, Gladys, for your nice comments on our 'oertlif_3'. This site is a non-star one: we need to clear all the private family albums on the old sites... to get more space! Love and hugs, Henri and Kaethi

 • Hello Gladys, this album of glorious cloud shots could go on for ever. It's good that you put the date on them, it notes the passing of time, and makes each shot more unique. I read today that you're having a hot day in the West, so I hope your day ends with a stunning sunset. Maybe, even an ice cream to go! All the best, Keith.

 • Dear Gladys! Glad you enjoyed my album! It was a lot of fun photographing all that "junk"! ! I hope I have a solution for your dilemna! Do you use Webshots Desktop to upload your pictures? If you do...when you first create your album, make it private...this way you can take your time creating the album and no one can see it till you edit the album and make it public! Hope this helps you!! Take care my friend...Darlene

 • Hi there Gladys. Well, what can I say about this album?...... Your photos are of excellent quality as always. You have done a first class job in capturing some pretty amazing, fabulous and stunning cloud formations. I didn't want the slide show to end!! These views made a pleasant change to the pretting boring skies we get here in the UK most days, at this time of the year, which are grey and bleak looking. Nothing whatsoever that compare to these skies of yours. How lucky you are to live in such surroundings. I also want to thank you for very much for signing my feature yesterday. I was thrilled to hear from you. I was overwhelmed with the response and support I received throughout the day. Hearing from so many people made it a very special day for me. It's going to take me ages to reply to everyone, but no worry, I'll get there. Take care and do keep in touch. Luv n'hugs Jayne, UK. :) xx

 • Hi Gladys, and firstly tks ever for all your kind words and help, re, naming (lol) and typing size. I am stoked, and it is a great new discovery especially if can't find my reading glasses. Have soo much to catch up on...and shall be back soon to view some more albums and comment. I do look at albums, but sometimes just the time factor and trying to finish my artwork. I must say that I never tire of viewing your beautiful clouds and East or West...there is still that same wonderful beauty. Too many trees as I said in my backyard...so I head either up the top of the hill and head down a little east, or climb to the top of Eildon. As we know...those magical colors are only around for such a short time...and sometimes a quick run is the order if I have got sidetracked. Thanks ever for your kindness and encouraging comments, and hopefully soon, shall have a whole new vista to enjoy and dwell in. Trust you had a fabulous Aussie Day, and wishing you another great one today....Kindest regards....Em

 • HI Gladys....WEll these are something else of beauty aren't they and you do capture some magnificent skies from the yard of your home and they are quite spectacular. I only see trees ...so thankful that we see the great beauty of W.A. through your eyes. There are too many fab ones to single any out from the other, but I must say that the photos of the clouds reflection in the building are super and very artistic. Isn't nature just a gift for our eyes..the big living picutre...that is for free. Tks ever Gladys for stirring the places deep inside that love and appreciate pure beauty. Fabulous album...awesome photos. Excellent job Gladys. Take care and have a really great day....Kindest regards..Em

 • Hi Gladys, tell me: Is there no end to the beauty of Western Australia? I've always known about the legendary beauty of the Australian coral reefs, beaches, landscapes and, of course, Australian women. Now I see these magnificent skies and I'm left wondering: What next? Thanks for your very kind words on my featured Flowers album while I was away, Paul in Florida.

 • Hi Gladys, I'm back after a busy time. Now it's nice to have a rest at Webshots. I just went through this awesome album. So many so beautiful views and many, many favorites! The best view for this kind of album is the slideshow! Absolutely gorgeous, the sliding changes of the scenery. Six month of gathering views! What you do you to perfect! It was worth it! I made a sky album too, but did it in 3 hours - between getting up, having breakfast and running to the morning lectures. Thanks for your explanations about the Red Poinciana and the Nuytsia floribunda. I always enjoy that very much. Thanks for telling Peter to inform me about his new album with the Christmas trees. It is amazing how the color of the bloom changes. Okay, so I have to come to Australia to see them in bloom. Maybe some day! Sure there is a lot to see and to learn - and there are very nice people!!! like you! Have a wonderful week! - Galit

 • Hi Gladys - Your question about the Rose Parade is not dumb! The answer is...yes, it is the Tournament of Roses Parade from Pasadena, CA. For us in America, it is "The Rose Parade" and we all know it by that name...but I should have realized that in the world of Webshots, there are many people who would not be as familiar as someone from the U.S. I need to finish that album as I have been very busy with work since I uploaded the pictures last weekend. I will try to do this tomorrow! We are being saturated with rain right now & a day inside working on Webshots sounds like a great idea! Thank you so much for your lovely comments on the album. It truely is wonderful to be able to view all those gorgeous flowers & I only hope that my photos allow others to feel like they have had that incredible experience themselves! Have a wonderful day and keep posting those beautiful pictures of your homeland! I have thoroughly enjoyed the clouds and sunsets that you have here in this album! Blessings from California, Lynn

 • Isn't it amazing how much time we spend recording whats happening in the sky? It is so unlike anything else we look at; forever changing, but cyclic too, alternately grim and flambuoyant. Thank you for your feedback on pictures taken in California while visiting Mom. The central valley of California appears to have much in common with your Western terrain, including (I'll bet) being paved over. Keep up the good work on your wildflower study, gardens and continental exploration!
