hi kathy! don't get me wrong.....i don't think that album should have been featured.... BUT, it hurt my feelings that all those people said such negative things to the photographer. After all, they did not REQUEST to be featured. those comments, i think should have been directed to webshots instead. i can't imagine how awful it would feel...to open up my email & find all these negative things being said about pictures that i took...& loved. Hi Kathy. Firstly thank you for your lovely comment re Peace and Love ant I do agree completely. This album is just AWESOME..and full of a huge passion of mine...Birds!! Beautiful birds...and the photos of the Great Blue Heron that made you cry with joy...superseded all my other many many favorites!! I sure downloaded a few that is for sure. The journey at times really felt like it was through the birds eyes re your naming...and I had fun that is for sure. So many wonderful photos and I sure would love permission to at some time use from your birds...to paint from as they are just fabulous examples of what is sometimes hard to get. Loved the 'sitting on poles' shots also and reminds me of the pelicans when you cross a bridge in areas where they reside. Look up and along each lightpost sits a beautiful pelican. Este album es precioso Kathy.Lo encuentro superior al del pavo real(y todavia me falta ver con atencion los demas).Las fotos "Sunset&quot ; preciosas.Las de "nubes" impactantes. Seguiré viendo tus otros albums.Bien ya esta puesto el nombre que pedias al gato que sale por la verja y detras de la mascara al balcon/antifaz y no, no adivino el porque del nombre.Detras de un antifaz hay unos ojos que pueden ser preciosos.En este caso,detras del antifaz o mascara hay una habitacion y...ya me lo explicaras.Tambien he puesto nombre a la otra que te gustaba.La he titulado "Iron Flower" Es correcto?.Mira,en esto de los nombres me parece bien que prefieras que una foto tenga título.Sin embargo han habido y hay grandes nombre de la fotografia,te citare solamente a Cartier Bresson,Kapa,Inge Morath etc.etc.que dicen que una foto no debe llevar titulo por lo de la imagen vale mas que mil palabras,pero sobre todo porque es la imagen la que debe sugerir al espectador toda clase de sensaciones y sentimientos.Por ejemplo a tí la de mi gato en la verja te ha sugerido que busca la libertad.Pero no sabes si el gato entra o sale .Claro que es mas bonita tu apreciación,pero y si lo que hace es entrar otra vez en la casa (carcel)?. Hi Kathy and thanks a million for your kind words in the guestbook of my FIRE album. We are now getting our breath back, power is restored, the road is open and we have been down to the shops to replenish the frig and freezer. But oh the devastation we saw is heartbreaking - all that lovely bush gone and goodness knows what became of all the wildlife. Fortunately the bush will re-generate very rapidly - in fact a lot of our bush depends on fire for its survival. Kathy, I was wondering when you would be coming up with another display of photographic magic. And lo and behold here you are and with a feature album too. What a beauty it is, and it is going to take a while to go through it with every photo filling my whole screen, but do it I shall and within the next hour or so too! As we say in Oz, "You bewdy!!" Katja, let me be the first one to congratulate you on another splendid album! This album captures the essence of our beautiful state. Even though we are just called the "Sunshine State", Florida, as your title suggests, means ocean, beaches, plants and flowers, birds - all of these things and more. As a naturalized Floridian (as are most of us here in this state), we see these sights almost daily and almost take them for granted. Seeing them through your eyes and the lens of your excellent camera, with your sense of composition and very unique captions and titles (one of katifelkai's trademarks) allows us to appreciate the beauty of nature around us even more. Thank you for for bringing us these excellent photos to enjoy and download. And, I hope there may be more photos to come should you ever visit our state again. Excellent work - don't stop - keep more interesting albums coming! I am sure many viewers will agree with me on the quality of your photography and your presentation. With a hug, bruno
