Thank you for your note, Maria! I was so impressed with the landscapes and still lifes that Mr. Weston did that I started researching all the places that he had been, and the work he'd passed on to his sons....I made friends with two of his grand children and found them to be quite nice and enjoyable people on their own merits. Cara Weston runs her site with a lot of beautiful scenics and is on the Board of Directors of Magnum Migraine Foundation....a charming and friendly woman. So, happening on your Carmel album today, brought whole new sight to me. My wife and I started looking into property in Carmel, bought a book on the town, and generally became enamored with the location...she's got relatives scattered up and down the coast, but we're likely to be able to only dream of it...we were incredulous of the prices of even the tiniest of homes in that part of the coast...even though her grandmother lived in Trinidad Point for some time. This is such a remarkable album, especially of the ocean waves. There are a couple of them that make you feel that if you stand there too long the wave will hit you. Hi Maria; I did restrain myself and only left one message at a particular photo. I loved coming back to this album now that I have been to Carmel. I loved the visit to your album even more, because I am a little more familiar with the Carmel area and now realize that I will certainly have to come back again in different seasons. We did have bouts of the ever so famous fog banks that roll in and some haze. No puffy clouds, as you predicted, but an awesome trip none the less. The scenery was incredible and I loved the architecture. What is they say? Come for the week-end and stay for a lifetime. I am totally enchanted with Carmel and just know that I will be back. Hello Maria. How kind of you to let me know that I had a POTD in the flower section. It was so sweet of you. Your album of Carmel is outstandlingly beautiful. I visited Carmel, a day trip from San Francisco some years ago. It was August and the weather was so awful. It was cold, the sky was grey and it rained and rained and rained. The photo I took of the lone Cypress was so depressing. There is no true deadline for the book. I start college tommarow (finally) and my schedule is kinda full, but I am trying for 2-4 weeks. Everyone is still sending me their poetry, so it wont be for a while. For the picture of the beach, I'd like it to be near sun-set, but still bright enough that the picture isn't too dark. The poem it's for is about a couple walking along the beach, that's why i'd like footprints in it. About the desert one, it doesn't have to be a desert. Just something to say Arizona. It could be flowers or whatever. Just something that looks like it could be arizona. Thank you again so much for doing the photo's for our book, I hope this will help get your name out there :) Also, do you have a main website or is this it? Cause I wanted to include it in the book, on the second page with all the copyrite info. This way if someone likes your pictures, they can easily view more and even contact you. well, Thank you again :) Sheila

Hello, It's me again. I wanted to ask you a few things , and let you know more about my book. First off, it's a family book. I'm taking alot of poems from each family member and putting them all in one book. This book is called "One Families' Heart". This edition will be Vol. 1. I plan to keep this in the family for many generations. So as time goes by there will be a vol. 2, and 3 and so on, passing it down , to hopefully be continued for a very long time. The cover is already finished with your picture, which is beautiful by the way. But i'd like to know if you can possibly let me use your photo's throughout the book. I have other photo's in there currently, but i'd like to take them out and only use your photos. This way everyone will know who took them. Every family will buy this book first, then we'll put it up on the market. Hopefully it will sell. lol. This will also help you get more well know. Your pictures are beautiful. Well on the inside of the book, they have to black and white, So I would need the folling pictures in B&W; foot prints in the sand near the water, the desert (that can be assumed to be Arizona), a small ship at sea (an old ship, this may be too difficult, if so, I'll just use the one i have), and a deserted, maybe gloomy area, for a poem about depression. If you have these I'd greatly appreciate it. I'd love to only have your pictures in this book and maybe keep it that way for future books with the family also. Thankyou so much for your time. OK Maria, mistery solved, sort of. What you see is a baby Chaparro tree. I don´t even know its name in english. I haven´t seen this tree anywhere else, in fact it's not very commom even here in Venezuela. You can see it full grown in the picture named Chaparro Flowers. Hi again Maria. Thanks for your comments on my Mi Casa Album. I don´t have a Cherymoya tree, must be something similar, but I know the tree, you should have problems just because it's from a seed, in any case it may be the weather is not tropical enough. The same goes for pineapples, they grow best on hot dry land. The one I have on the album is really a very small bromelia, atually the fruit is about 1.5 inches. Isn't it cute? CONGRATULATIONS! About six years ago, I lived just outside of Monterey/Carmel and only get to visit here once a year now. On a birthday about 7 years ago, a bunch of us divers dove at Point Lobos and came back to Carmel River Beach Park for a pot luck. The waves were over 20 foot and hammering on the beach. Thank goodness we decided not to dive here that day. I always love the journey to this area and I thank you for taking us along. Lynn, Oregon/USA
