Hi Judge and thank you so much for your comment. I consider it high praise! I always enjoy hearing from you and, believe it or not, think about you whenever I'm in German Village. It is a beautiful place and always offers something new to see or visit. Now that my daughter has moved we don't get there as often as I would like. I couldn't believe it when I saw your new album. I have never been to Amelia Island but absolutely love Jekyll Island which isn't far from Amelia. Jekyll is about 70 miles north of Jacksonville. And, I love shrimp boats - I could watch them all day. I loved your photos of the sunrise by the pier. Sunrise on the beach is my favorite time of day and favorite place to be! Since it was 2 degrees and snowy this morning here in Ohio I certainly feel the longing to be back there. Have a great day and 2005! Connie from Ohio

Good album of the Fernandina docks, Judge. I only wish I saw this album before my visit to Fernandina Beach last year, since I took only a handful of photos of the harbor area. You saw something in these docks that I didn't. I, however, learned that the modern shrimping industry began in Fernandina Beach. You did well with your photographic documentation of the Fernandina docks. Steven

Photo after photo is just beautiful. The soft pastels of the sea and sky and weathered wood of the docks makes for peaceful scenes. This is a very warm and inviting album - another page in the book of Learning About Florida. - Very best regards from West Michigan, DeeAnne P.S. It is such a shame to lose so many beautiful acres to wildfires - you and all of Florida are in our prayers.
