  • Thanks for your kind comments. We were traveling north on 215. This would explain why I don't remember this view...lol, too bad we weren't going the other way. Anyway, thanks for clearing this up for me. I love looking at your pictures...how they make me long to go back up there and never leave.

  • Hey there! Last fall my family went up to North Carolina & we stayed in Waynesville. Your picture of NC 215 at the foot of cold mountain drives me crazy. Going by your description, I think we drove by there...I just can't seem to remember it. Is this spot on 215 north or south of the BRP? It seems impossible that I wouldn't remember a stretch of road that beautiful. Lol, please write me back and put my mind at ease.
