I live in Cheshire, which is pretty flat, but this is really flat! I have never been to Norfolk, to my shame! This album has brought home the beauty I have missed. There are truly stunning and evocative photos in here and I loved viewing them. Thank you. Debbie

Hi Eric,Thanks for sharing your view of the scenery near where I live in King's Lynn. Not sure where you are from. And thanks for the reply on my photos and of the Seaborn Sun in 2000 , shame the sold it, but it is still on the sea. We are looking forward to our trip on the Artemis in Feb., this is our longest trip.Let me know how your trip on Sapphire Princess in the Far East is as we would love to go that way one day, Our friend are booked for a world cruise on the Orinia for 2007 but they are coming with us in Feb. Hi Eric! Thanks so much for your nice comments in my featured album guestbook on Wednesday. You're right - there are many similarities to your photos here. Aren't those cliff faces great? And I love your marsh photos, the reflections, the lavender field and the poppies - wow! This looks like a place to add to our list for future visits. When was the jazz festival? Is it annual? What type of jazz? Stop by my latest album when you get a chance, byt the way. There's a surprise waiting there for you. Cheers and warmest regards, Beth

Splendid photgraphs of Thornham. I am doing a web site for Thornham, nothing official, just a bit of fun but alot of people are taking an interest in it. I was wondering if you would mind me copying some of your shots of Thornham for the purpose of putting them on the Thornham site. No financial gain is made out of the site and if you agree to it, I will place a shortcut to your webshot page on the Thornham front page. The site if you want to check it out first before you reply to this can be found at the following address. http://thornham.homestead.com. If you do visit the site would you mind leaving a comment in the visitors book, along with any ideas. Thank you for your time. Steve Greef

Hi Eric....been wading through your new slot Ericy102..just before tripping off to Canada for grandaughter`s birthday. At least your daughter in Sheffield is not that far away!!! As usual your standards have not dropped, and you provide many interesting scenes and images...just will have to come back later....did not realise so much lavender was grown your way...one of my favorites. Keep well you two...brian

Hi Eric and as I have heard about this album from Ken I decided now would be as good a time as any to have a look. I see what he means now - it's really great and captures the whole essence of the area so well. I remember some of the area from various visits we used to make to Spalding many years ago and an added thing is that my wife's earliest ancestors hail from the area. So you can see that we have an affinity for all that district. Thanks for your entry in my GB yesterday and I hope you can persuade your wife to travel out here next year. A lot of people these days fly to Singapore where they break their journey for a few days before coming on to Perth. Some other friends like to stop over at Dubai for a couple of days which they say helps to shorten the flight. You can tell you wife that our golf course are second to none and a heck of a lot cheaper to play than yours (We know from when we were back there in 1997 just how expensive it is to play golf) Show her one of my Early Morning walk or Kangaroo albums in my georgieboy98 albums and she'll get a pretty good idea of what our courses are like. If you intend visiting Ningaloo Reef it's at best a two day drive from Perth so most people fly up to Exmouth and hire a car from there. On the other hand if you decide to drive it there are two or three great places to visit en route (Pinnacles, Kalbarri, Monkey Mia etc - I have albums on the first two places which will give you an idea what to expect) Keep in touch and if your arm twisting is successful let me know and I might be able to offer you some inside info! Best regards, Peter By the way, my other site is http://community.webshots.com/user/georgieboy98

Dear Eric, I've just looked at this album together with my husband [tanaka62] and I MUST tell you about all the shots I found so attractive to my eyes and soul. The opening shot in the hands of a good painter might turn into a fantastic painting. #10/18/22 are exquisite views; #26, so picturesque; #27, such a beautiful exposure, I like the contrast; #29 and 37 are superb shots; #42 makes the screen so merry; #51, I like the colours; #54, a beautiful sight; #62 is interesting; #65 and 75 are magnificent views; #80, I wondered whether it was a photo or a painting, absolutely excellent!;#81, I love the dunes, find them very poetic; #85, very pastoral; #91, great subject for a painting; #94, magnificent colours; and the last shot with poppies in poppyland it sure is a promise for that other wonderful album I have already visited. What a delight you offered us with this album!Thank you and best regards from Gabriela

Hi Eric , just had to have another look at this on, I am compiling my own North Norfolk. just looking to pinch some ideas lol. each time I go down there is a few more. incidently on an earlier trip I got a good photo of a Sand Lizard and according to all my books they should not be there. however, I have been lead to believe that they have been introduced into the area, do you know anything about it? I just love this album, knowing all the places only makes it better. take care Ken

hello Eric, thanks for the kind words about my cruise album, glad it brought back memories. to answer the question about Springfields, it was on the 12th April this year. They have sadly took half for a trading center but what is left is still worth visiting. all the best for the future Ken PS I'M Looking forward to my many visits to the North Norfolk coast during the summer but I doubt if I will ever match your superb cover of the area.

Hi Eric, I have just visited your garden albums, they are really wonderful. I found the name Fritillaria Imperialis from them, of which there are two in my latest Album of Springfields Festival Gardens in Spalding which is not to far away from you. It might be worth a visit at this time of the year. I had a look at your cruise ships, As an old sailor I have seen several of them in various parts of the world. All the best for your many travels to come. Ken Ps changed a couple of spelling mistakes

Good evening Eric. I have really enjoyed your album of the Norfolk Coast. With views like this, I doubt very much that you miss the Midlands!! You have some excellent views that I especially loved - 'The coal shed sunset and high tide' #27, 'Road under water' #34, and 'Mud flats on the Wash' #65. All classic shots. And your opening photo is fabulous too, just like a painting. Well done. And I want to thank you for reminding me about what was missing in my pub album. Guess where I've been today? Take a peek when you get time. Best wishes, Jayne xx

Hello Eric. Thank you for the wonderful words on my albums. My Husband also thinks I am nuts taking pics of weird trees, especially when I yell STOP THE CAR!! Stop in again soon as I am always adding new pics. Am enjoying your underwater pics, as I am a Landlubber and this is the only way to see the Sea. Many great pics you have. I will be back for more. Thanks again, Aileen - Wisconsin
