Hello Mike, now that Emily destroyed yesterday most of the beauty of Playa del Carmen and other wonderful places in the Mexican Caribbean I came to tell you that your photos are fantastic. I specially like 3,5, 37, 38 45 and 48. You visited my album of Shanri-La that is only 3 miles up north from Playa. Also that is a disaster. My heart is bleeding because I go there almost every year, first time when I visites it was Playa, in 1989, it was only a dreamy little fishing village ..even if you don't believe it. Only some little hotels like the Blue Parrot Inn, where I stayed that time...Then following years I stayed in Las Palapas and Shangri-La... I talked to the people in Colorado who make reservations with them and the news are not very good...but they will build up again ... vegetation is another question, needs time. Last terrible hurricane was Hugo in 1988. I just wanted to let you know but I am sure all this is also known in Europe. Congratulations for your fantastic album at least we have your photos.Regards from California,kathy

Thank you for writing in my guestbook and congratulating me on my featured album From the Sea. What I like most about receiving a feature is the opportunity to hear from fellow members from all over the world and therefore be directed to their albums. I truly do love the beach and know how fortunate I am to live so close to it. BTW, I'm certainly not a morning person either but... it's really not so bad getting up early to catch a sunrise!

CIAO Mike and THANKS at your insomnia! A beautiful album from Paradise! Excellent collection with MANY great shots and with funny and interesting comments. The first sequence of shots, and mainly 2,3,8, are a pure beauty like your portraits in 20 and 26. 48 and 49 are great and 35 and 53 are fantastic with those colors of sea (what a beaches!!!).
