Gidday Gladys...My pleasure to be the first to commentin your new album...Ican see you have been busy with your cam... I haven't updated for ages as I have joined a PSP group and I'm learning heaps... and lovin it... besides... I've barely left the house except to visit the specialist in over 9 months... and there's only so many pics you can take of sheep and dry paddocks... am hoping to 'hit-the-frog' very sooooon...then the cam will get a good workout once again... Awful shame about the bushfires...love to catch the buggars that start them...and burn their bloody hands!!!... Take care... hugs Gypsy...XO

Hello Gladys, Interesting photos all. The pods picture reminds me of one we have here that we call 'false cucumber', seeds inside are as large as a thumbnail, half inch think and quite watery-all, four of them in one pod I'm thinking-its been awhile since I've seen one in the woods. You usually name your plants, what happened here? Interesting to note the Perth fire in the background-was it a natural fire or did they find that it was started by some unknown? Nice little park you have here. Thanks for letting the rest of us know that you've a new album here. Come back for a visit sometime. Ron/Oregon Coast

Hi Gladys, what a clean, crisp environment and such a brilliant, deep blue sky. The smoke haze, was that from the same fires that Peter so ably covered in his album? I really must make an effort to get over to the West. My brother and sister-in-law rave about it. Both are accomplished photographers, with beautiful photos to show for their adventures. Best regards, Keith.

Hi Gladys, when I look at this album, I ask myself, 'why is this beach so empty???' The beach is so wonderful, all the scenery is gorgeous, but where are the people? The pictures of the floating sphere are nice with the seagull! Why does the sphere float? It looks like made of stone! - The Totem Poles are so colorful and the Murals remind me our actions about saving water! Most I like #33, the beautiful shining grass of the Blackboy!- I am glad that not only I miss when shooting moving objects! ........I prefer flowers! :-) Gladys, today I need your help. I've a new tree album and have absolutely no clue what the tree's name is. Could you have a look at it? It looks like a tree, that could survive in your clime too! Have a better day tomorrow! Full of smiles! Galit from Israel

Hi Gladys, thank you for all your nice comments in my different new albums. Those albums were a very sunny day, a very long walk and a lot of fun. No one seems to know my mystery tree! I don't know if it is allowed to pick the fruit along the street. Once I picked Mini Oranges from along the street to make a jam and there were thousands of oranges under the tree that weren't picked...... Citrus Intolerance occurs very often, and there are a lot of people allergic to Citrus pollen....there is always the other side of good things. Yes, actually my mailbox is overflowing. I feel like after a featured album: 30 entries in the last 3 days. Wow! Gladys, have a wonderful weekend! - Galit

Hi Gladys! Beautiful foreshore park and beach views! Sorry to hear about the bush fires. Like Galit, I wonder why there aren't more people on the beach on a day such as this. Interesting sculpture and totems at Wanliss Park! Keith

Hello Gladys, Noticed you had some new photos...how come your skies are sooooooo blue!! Haven't seen skies like this since the war years in the South of Asia. A nice album of totems and parks and that must've been a rather large bush fire? Is the fired-over area seeded naturally or is it State planted? Take care and take more photos. Best regards. Hi Gladys, at last it is weekend and I have some time. Thanks for searching about the background of the 'Floating Rock Sphere'! That's quite a rock! A very beautiful rock! It looks so simple, but sure it was a not so easy project to realize! The beach people make a very positive addition to this album. I love the row of flags(even without people!) picture # 47! No, I still do not have a botanical name for the mystery tree! Meanwhile I ordered prints of the pictures and then I'll go and visit tree nurseries! No, I am not so tall as my shadow. The light came from a very low point of view. At that time of the day, after work, I am more a shadow than myself - but never to tired to take a picture! :-) Gladys, I wish you a HAPPY EASTER! - Galit from Israel

I see Rockingham Beach is a popular spot! I like your "sails on horizon" and "enjoying the water" shots. It may be overcast but lovely nonetheless. Keith

Hi there Gladys. Fabulous photos!! Wonderful 'blue' skies and what we'd give to have a lovely clean almost 'empty' beach like that here in Europe. It has been a pleasure to view your local scenes. Thank you. Wishing you a very Happy Easter Sunday. Luv n'hugs Jayne xx

Hello Gladys, A bunch of nice photos of your water and beaches, question on the last photo though, "swept beaches". Why would anyone want to sweep the beaches? It would seem like a waste of good city monies. Interesting places you call home and again I see those very blue skies!! Thanks for this invite, appreciated. Ron/Oregon Coast

Very nicely done Gladys and I didn't know your Council swept the beaches. Wonder how many other of our shires do that? Wanneroo certainly don't. That last photo, by the way, looks as though it was taken from just about the exact spot I was on when we stopped off there for morning tea on our way to Abingdon Village a few months ago. Thanks very much for your appreciation of our garden - did you see today's additions of the new lawn area we put down this morning? It was delivered at 7.00am and we had it all laid and were drinking tea by 11.00. Apart from aching back, aching legs and aching feet I feel fine!! Best regards, Peter

Hi Gladys and this is really to thank you for your entries in my two latest guest books. Your interest is appreciated. As a matter of interest we were down Freo way on Wednesday - had lunch at Cicerellos. It was a beautiful day, as you know, and we sat overlooking the water and it was just perfect! Peter

G'day Gladys, your photos are absolutely stunning! That said, they also make me very homesick for WA, Perth Region. I was living in Singapore for 4 years and visited Perth all the time as my "getaway". I loved the nature, the beaches, the people, the feeling to be worlds away from everything but yet to have all you desire. I've visited Rockhampton a few times, never saw the dolphins though. My favorite was Fremantle, ate lots of good food at the Pizza Bella Roma. Hillary's Boat harbor was another cool place to hang out, Cottlesloe Beach & The pavillion - stop me, I'll keep going all night!!!Thanks so much for bringing back beautiful memories! Hello Gladys, Such glorious beaches and blue sky, altough we have had a warm summer so far, we have not seen to many really good skies, mostly dull, so it is with real pleasure that I can look at yours. Thankyou so much for the recent GB's, I am finding it very difficult to keep up as we tend to be out and about a lot at this time of the year, I do so like those totem poles, are they aboriginal or just purely for decoration, best wishes as always Ken
