wow, we were there just last summer...my husband and I were there on a stormy day...when the storm passed we drove up...wow, what a view. I'm afraid of heights...but even I had to give God glory for his creation up there.great shots!

I remember visiting Capulin--some years back. The ride up the road at the time (and possibly still) was some ride, along a road that twisted and turned--with awesome drop-offs from the unpaved road, and no guard rails. Your photos are quite good. As a matter of fact, I was accompanying the SW park service photographer who was shooting pics to be used in an update of the monument's brochure. This guy considered a 4x5 back on his 5x7 view camera a "miniature&q uot;--he was a big format photographer. The shots were b&w, and I need hardly tell you they were stunning. A real pro. I took color photos with a beautiful camera I still use--an old Kodak Retina IIIc with an Schneider Xenon (think that's how it's spelled) f.2 lens. Rangefinder camera in still-good condition.
