Hello Gladys, This is certainly a nice album you covered in capturing the beauty of the sea. The colors are fantastic!! You've done a great job. I have to ask, what kind of camera are you using. I've been looking for a good digital for quite a while now and still asking around. I see that you found my new album and I appreciate your nice comments about the ol' steamer. Do thank you for showing us the undersea creatures, most would take for granted. You haven't photographed all the 12,000km of beaches have you or did you leave a few km for others to shoot? Take care and best wishes. Ron/Oregon Coast

Dear Gladys, what a colourful world that we hardly can see! I commend you for the exquisite shots taken through glass! Those of coral and small fish are superb! I fell in love with the portrait of the small and cute Seahorse! My husband and I wish to thank you for the visit and guestbook entry at our featured album The Red Temple.Greetings from Japan, Gabriela & Yoshiyuki Tanaka

Hi Gladys, thanks for looking at my 'View from the top'! Yes those Solar Panels are very useful. They seem slowly to disappear and that is really a pity! Those stairs were not so hard to climb. I stopped often to get some more pictures. Actually I was very surprised that there was no 'stop' and no 'keep out' on my way up. But maybe the thought of having to climb keeps people down anyway! :-) Your rain seasons go exactly contrary to our seasons. So I can always send you some sun or rain when you have none! :-) I just slid through this wonderful album. Most of it reminded me the Disney movie 'Nemo' - which I watched at least 10 times - probably many times more :-) And then I found your 'Nemos'! Wow! Like meeting a neighbor on the other side of the world! That is a wonderful place you have there. It seems to me very difficult to take those aquarium pictures! Did you use a special filter to get those wonderful colors? - Have a wonderful day - Galit from Israel

Hi Gladys. Another beautiful album you have here. Fish are as colourful as flowers and that makes them pretty special. No. 74 was called "count the fish". I reckon twenty seven. Stay well mate and I'll catch you later. Al.. PS. You better count them to see if I did or not. LOL.

Hi Gladys. Hey, that snapper looks almost good enough to eat!! It's taking me a while to get through this album as I am running it on a full screen slide show at 10 second delays and viewing about 15/20 photos in a session. I didn't know you had been up this way and strangely that is one place we have yet to visit. I say that, but we were there a few years ago to take the photos of bride and groom at a Greek wedding. Not easy when they wanted the fish to be clearly seen behind them!! And then 3 or 4 years later we attended the wedding of a young friend in the restaurant there. I love the colours you have got - they are really stunning. You wouldn't have used flash either so all in you have done really well with this. Best wishes, Peter

Hi Gladys...Well, silly me for not signing this album when I view it first!! They are just wonderful and a great album of the beauty that abounds in our beautiful waters!! We are blessed in this land...and that must have been a wonderful experience and the colors and especially the blue...soo vivid!! My first experience painting underwater scenes....was just amazing and I discovered soo many things that I never knew existed.!! The spectacular beauty..and the amazing and perfect patterns...made me continually question and just look in awe at another world that lies beneath!! I am a little claustophobic....and don't being locked in with windows shut etc...but after discovering the endless beauty like that which you have displayed some of...I reckon I would love to have a go at scuba diving...and see it for myself!! If I do...you shall be the first one that I let know..lol!! Tks for your ever gracious words in my Sunflower album...and it was a little fun for me! The rain seems to have lifted here...and you can't imagine the massive mist that shrouded this city this morning. It is as I imagine that Tibet would be...Spectacular...and no city out there from up that hill behind..Yes I took the camera..how could I resist that beauty!!@ Anyway take care my friend...and I shall be in touch along the way. A couple of weeks to launch I guesstimate...and not sure when I get to W.A....but you shall be on my mind as my dream is to be there...when those wildflowers just cover the lands.!! When the wildflowers bloom....I shall be in W,A,!! Take care Gladys...and tks for sharing the absolute magic...that dwells beneath our oceans!! Your album is just absolutely beautiful, so vivid and very very ALIVE!!!....Have a really great day...Hugs...Em

Hi Gladys...I love the harbour scenes and downloaded them, but the reef and fish are extraordinary. The fish and the coral are so colourful! I remember in school, hundreds of years ago, receiving a small piece of coral from someone who went to Australia. Wow, its beautiful. Great photos too. warm regards, Barbara

Hi Gladys, :-) :-)CONGRATULATIONS :-) :-) on being featured today with this gorgeous album! I am so happy for you! I hope you get as many nice GB entries today as there are fish and corrals in this album! :-) I mean: some hundreds! - at least! You will be so busy! :-) I am lately too busy with other things, but I hope next month it will be easier. Thank you so much for all your wonderful messages. I treasure them all! :-) It is wonderful after a busy day to find a message from you! :-) No I did not update all my albums. I used the new Photo Manager to change the position of some albums. I fact I only put the 'Royal Poinciana' in front of the 'Myrtle tree'. The result was that all those albums up to the Myrtle tree got the updated sign. This new Photo Manager still has a lot of bugs like this. - But I did upload 'some of Yoav' and a wonderful new tree dedicated to my Australian friends. I still have to ad all the names. How are your roses doing! - and how are the scratches . . . you can now rest at the PC and let those scratches heal! Gladys, I'll soon be back to look at your new albums! :-) Have a wonderful day! Galit

Hello Gladys, congratulations on having this feature today. A very colourfull set of fish photos, but why aquariums? get your mask & snorkel on, I assure you they look even better out on the reef. I am currently in long winded negotiations with my wife, trying to do a trip to WA next year to snorkel Ningaloo & also see the big trees you have there. She would be bored stiff & does not like long distance flying either! so must put some charm on. Liked your roses as well, i have a few of those. Eric

You have done an awesome job in capturing thess images,as it's not an easy task inside an aquarium to get good photos but you show us it can be done ;) ... 16 Cuttlefish,39Western Red Scorpioncod, 40 Starfish and 61 Coral Reef are my faves but I enjoyed every shot. All the best, Brenda - NSW :-)

Hi Gladys, I actually sat down yesterday to write to you to congratulate you on your featured album, but I got sidetracked with a family get-together at our home. I was planning on coming back to drop you a note today, when I realized that I am being featured...and you have already written to me! What a nice surprise for both of us! Your album is so wonderful & full of color. You have done an excellent job...keep up the great work! Congratulations, again, and God bless, Lynn

Hello Gladys. Belated congratulations on this wonderful and colourful feature. I am on holiday in Italy, so it is just a quick hello to say BRAVO on these outstanding photos. Bet you were inundated with g/b entries. You certainly deserved them. I am here in Rome today doing the sights. It is a photographers dream, so much to capture on film. So I had better get back to my pic taking. Ciao, Jayne/ROMA xx

Gladys, thanks for the suggestions. The multi-story boat park uses a huge fork-lift with each boat being in its own cradle, easy to retrieve and put into the water. As for the messages in my own box, you are right, but I had reasons for doing it that way at the time. Had a quick view of some of your albums - some good shots in there too - what type of camera do you use?

Hi Gladys, This album is still as beautiful as I remember it. Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Has the number of downloads in your "My Albums" page changed at all in the last week? After increasing by several hundreds to several thousands per day during the past month, my downloads have not changed at all during any of the past 7 days. I know it’s possible, but this sudden a change is extremely unlikely. Are you aware of anyone else having similar problems?

Hello Gladys, how do you get such excellent photographs in an aquarium. So far, all my attempts are duds. The light is so poor that the shutter times are too long for the fish to remain still and everything comes out blurred. Your work look real good. Thanks for sharing, and thank you for reviewing our "Balloon04" album. Ed/Albuquerque

Hi Gladys. I just wrote a long screed in here but it obviously didn't go through. Thanks for the GB in my sepia album. That was a fun exercise that started off with some of the pics of Perth's older buildings. We didn't go to Kings Park after all yesterday - went into the Yanchep National Park (for the 3rd time this week). We keep finding more walk trails that have been re-opened (since the fire) We are off to the Granite belt for a few days next week for a change of scene - I have always wanted to see those m####ive rocks and do the 6kms walk around the base of a couple of them. Hope you got some good photos in the park - the lack of sun would be to your advantage when taking wildflower photos so I look forward to seeing your results. Time for morning tea - bye for now. Peter

Hi Gladys and congratulations on your feature! I've spent more time at flickr.com lately; also with school beginning in August, I'm sorry I missed your feature till now. A few of my favorite shots here are Hillarys Boat Harbour, Marmion BEach, and Walkway View. Thank you for sharing your visit to AQWA! Keith in Utah

Viewers please Note that the Content of this album has not been changed. It has been "Tagged" as NEW because Webshots decided to re-categorise it to PETS > Aquatic! This is a Public Aquarium which is a Tourist Attraction and Educational Venue, and these Marine Creatures are NOT PETS.. They are all of Australian origin and I feel that they should be categorised under "Australia" where any potential tourist will look to find out what can be seen in Australia. Please let me know your views.. Thanks.. Gladys.

Hi Glasdys! I want to thank you and send you belated congratulations on this Marvelous album. I enjoyed it very much! As for our discussion in the blog, I already answered you in the blog before noticing your guestbook entry. I usually use a computer with Windows XP, but I don't think it is relevant to the issue. I wasn't speaking about photo editing, but about album editing, and mainly editing comments and rearranging photos. These tasks have become pretty laborious recently with all the problems with the Webshots Desktop. You may wish to read my comments in the blog: http://blog.webshots.com/?p=61#comment-713 In my opinion, we are not wasting space there at all. I think these issues are relevant to many people. I only hope that Webshots will respond to our many suggestions. Take care, Orly

Hi Gladys, Thanks for the Congratulations but also Congratulations for you! Yes this beautiful album was a well deserved feature. The whole evening I’m enjoying your wonderful photos in your album Marine Life, again and again I take a view to the exotic fish, colourful coral, the light in the water. I can’t get enough of it. You make me smile by going inside again, I would do the same when I was there. So cute you have find Nemo, I also have a Nemo in my Artis the Zoo album, ~Finding Nemo~ Your album reminds me of the aquarium in Artis, I think now to go again for taking more photos! Thanks again and to the next time, take care, Joke from Holland

Hi Gladys, Lovely to hear from you and yes it is disappointing to lose photos as they are a treasure. I agree with the My stuff, and have seen it change back from that to my photos which is just much nicer. Great to see this album at the top because it is just a wonderful album parading all of Aussies beautiful marine life for the world to see. We are blessed in this land and is hard to believe that the majority of the world thought us a big desert with virtually not much green, before Webshots highlighted its beauty with photos by great shooters like you. Keep up the wonderful work it is a blessing. Take care Gladys and have a really great day. Kindest regards, hugs...Em
