Some additional mixed news: Tai Shan, the male Giant Panda cub born in our National Zoo is now two years old and will be staying at the zoo for at least an additional two years. His mother, however, is not pregnant after natural and artificial insemination from his father, Tian Tian.

We were there all too short a time, but my memories are wonderful of the architectural beauty, the trams or trolleys with overhead wires and the churches. You show her off very nicely, Vera.

Another stunning album! I've been to Nussdorf & Grinzig, but only in warm weather. The only time I've seen Vienna in the snow was in April 2003, when I was acting like a complete wimp, to the amusement of the locals. Now I can enjoy this in comfort! :-D

Schoene Bilder, liebe Vera! Ich bin echt begeistert! Was hast denn du fuer eine tolle Kamera, wenn ich fragen darf? Ich kenne Grinzing recht gut(meine Cousine hat in der netten Grinzinger Kirche geheiratet), auch Kahlenberg, Leopoldsberg natuerlich, und mit der Otto Wagner Kirche am Steinhof verbindet mich eine eher traurige Erinnerung. Habe vor Jahren dort eine junge Frau, die ziemlich depressiv war immer wieder besucht. Habe mich sehr gefreut, all die schoenen Plaetze wieder zu sehen. Deine Aufnahmen aber sind wirklich fantastisch!!Freue mich, wieder von dir zu hoeren! Ich schicke dir ganz herzliche Gruesse aus Freil####ing - Trixi :-)P.S. Dear Vera, so beautifull images from lovely Grinzing, Kobenzl and Kahlenberg. It bring so great memories. Hope you will add more pictures from this beautiful romantic places. Never visited in winter (many times in summer and fall). But in winter it looks again so different. Looking on your great pictures I see what I missed. You made so great pictures. The atmosphere of the place just breath from them. Hope for more images from places in and outside of Wien. That georgeous Wachau, Waldviertel, Weinveirtel and Muehlviertel dazu, lot of oportunity for your talent. I know that I and lot of other WebShots members and visitors will enjoy them too.
