Connie, regarding your question about shooting a straight down shot off of Carrick-a-Rede bridge: Not a chance! Several of the walkway support ropes on the left side were broken, the walkway was slanting pretty good to that side, the wind was howling, the bridge was swaying, and I just couldn't turn loose to steady the camera and get a decent shot downward. I understand that the bridge has been replaced now with something much more substantial. Bill

Hello Connie. Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful photos of George and Martha Washington's Estate. What a charming place to visit. I found the history tour most interesting and entertaining. Beautiful photos. I especially liked shot #14 of your 'Interesting Tree'. I believe I have a photo in my Hadrian's Wall album with a similar title. Take care and enjoy your week. Luv n'hugs Jayne xx

Hi Connie! Here I am first!!! What great captures of Mount Vernon. Great angles and unique captures. I was there years and years ago, but didn't have time to go back this time. Thanks for your kind comments on my albums, it is truly appreciated. Our "photographer's eye" does indeed go in the same direction. There was so much to photograph, I didn't know where to turn. Caleb should really enjoy DC..just not sure if he'll get to meet the president..lol..I don't know if you've ever been to DC in the summer, but it can get brutally hot and humid! Thanks for sharing, and I'm glad we're in touch again! Take care..Darlene
