I was there the first time in 1936 when Grandma Johannand Grampa Klaus were alive. Last time, when I was 15, Grandma was still alive and life was at our place in Odda when Grandpa died - Leif had just come in from the sea. So, I really treasure your pictures. I was on Drage last in 1980 with my niece and her husband Reidar Hoddevik. I am glad you had the opportunity to see where your "northern" family is from. It has bee wonderful to look at the photos online. What a great idea! Norway is beautiful, and it was nice to see a place that is so cool in the summer instead of our sweltering, humid weather. Phil, it must have been wonderful to see the world of your fathers and to have been so warmly welcomed by family.
