    • Happy Monday Ken! As Mondays go, I needed cheering up and motivation, which I got from this beautiful album!! Crater Lake defies description, you have to see it once with your own eyes. Been up there probably 10x, all different seasons. This is the deepest lake in America, with the clearest water in any naturally occuring body of water. It is also the area with most accumulated snowfall in America. I've been there on Memorial Day where the snowbanks are 30 feet high on the side of the road. The lodge has finally been lovingly and beautifully restored after laying in shambles for many years. This area holds a very special place in my heart! Thanks for visiting and sharing these beautiful shots! Marita, Houston, Tx

    • Hi Ken, What fantastic images! I love the rugged landscape surrounding those magnificent deep blues. It's definitely a beautiful land and yours is a beautiful album. I'm hoping someday to go and when I do, I'll count myself lucky if I get images half as good as these. Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your very generous words yesterday on my Lowry Zoo album.

    • Hello Ken. When you made this trip, did you not take the road down to see the Pinnacles? That is my favorite area in the park. I can take hundreds of images just of the pinnacles and never tire of it. Great images here by the way. I can see why you enjoy my "Winter at Crater Lake" album so well. I will be going again here real soon depending on the weather. As of December 6th this is the status at Crater Lake: 66" of snow on the ground (average at this time of year 38.8"). From Oct 1 to Sep 30 they have received 159" (average at this time 101.2"). And to top it all off, the average snow level is 524" or over 43 foot of snow! Have a Happy Holiday.... Lynn

    • Hi Ken. Well if I should ever be so lucky as to make it to Oregon, I would definitely stop off at this place. You have done a marvellous job showing us the sheer awe and beautiful views of Crater Lake. The colour BLUE in all your pics is incredible!! I have a 'thing' for blue, especally skies. I am never as happy as when the sun is shining and there is a 'BLUE' sky to go with it. I also called to say thank you so much for signing my 'post boxes' guestbook. The best part of a feature is hearing from ALL your friends ALL day long. Without them dropping by, it wouldn't be as much fun. Your visits, encouragement and support is highly valued. Take care and enjoy your weekend. Best wishes, Jayne/West Midlands, UK :) xx

    • We liked very much your Crater Lake albums, but also the other pictures from Oregon - such good souvenirs for us, from big trips in earlier years! God bless from southern France!

    • Hi, Thanks for your remarks on my Sealife and Jubilee albums. We had gone to Birmingham to visit The Sealife centre and as we were walking through the town centre the carnival was about to start and we thought that we would catch some of it on the way back, but sadly missed most of it as i wanted to get some pictures of the marine life first. I was pleased that most were Ok for my Webshots though. You have managed to get lots of angles of the lake and gives the impression of the veiwer walking around it.Lovely scenery and lovely photo's. Thanks, Your freind from England.......Tina

    • Ken, wow, thanks for the link to your site. It's great to meet a fellow photographer in the faith. You make me wanna travel America more with your photos. To answer your question earlier, I'm from Dallas Texas, but I left the states in 98 to travel. I loved being outside of the country taking pictures, but now I'm thinking about traveling the states to do the same. Thanks for the inspiration. God bless! Aaaaaaaaaaooooooooouuuuuu uuuuuuu!

    • Hi Ken, Thanks for listing me as a favourite of yours. Your comments on the spring lambs in my Countryside album are very true and with this knowledge we should conduct our daily lives as you showed during the six years you supported your parents. Thanks once again for another spectacular album the solitude and beauty that comes through in your photos is very satisfying indeed. Great photography God is so good Kindest Regards /Elaine.

    • I see you placed a comment in the guestbook of the guy with the "California& quot; featured album today. I looked through his other albums and discovered at least 5 of my photos, that he "stole" from me. I told him to delete them or I would report him to Webshots. It sure is a shame that there are people like this, who take the credit for other peoples work. mlajrjr

    • OK, after viewing this album, especially the Wizard Island shots, I have been challenged. I gotta get up there this summer on a clear day with the polarizer. ;-) Very nicely done!

    • Thanks for the compliments on my Colorado fall scenery photos. We drove out there last fall at the peak time for the aspens and it was more beautiful than we could have even imagined. Your albums of Crater Lake are beautiful. When I was a kid I had a ViewMaster with a reel of Crater Lake and thought it must be the most beautiful sight! Well, finally about two years ago, my husband and I flew out to Portland and drove all over the state of Oregon for the first time. Crater Lake was even more gorgeous than I even imagined. My husband has an album of our photos of Crater Lake under User Name rmr2u. Thanks again for your kind words and yes, God is so good to us. He created some many beautiful sights for us to enjoy. • So glad that you have all these beautiful pictures on Crater Lake National Park. Webshots is great.....I use it to learn about sights to see in the national parks and it's pictures such as yours that helps me plan and decide what to see when I travel. Thanks.
