You have shared "La sagra di Sant'Efisio a Cagliari" with the world; I ~PRAY~ they appreciate not only your excellent photography, but the devotion of your people to celebrate with pomp and honor, their heritage! The costumes are elaborately decorated with embroidery and laces ... and all of the gold jewelry and buttons. Being blonde and blue-eyed, I would stand out in the crowd as a 'stranger' but your dark-haired beauties make striking models for their native dress. Esplendido reportaje Simona. Este album es un despliegue completo de trajes y personajes de una fiesta tan popular como hermosa. Me gustan mucho las carretas tiradas por bueyes. En un pueblo de Espana de la provincia de Teruel, llamado Villarquemado, tambien tienen en su fiesta tradicional carretas adornadas con el mismo estilo. Pero como ya no hay bueyes, son los tractores los encargados de arrastrar las carretas. Te felicito porque has sabido fotografiar muy bien los rostros, los adornos, el vestuario y el ambiente. Ha sido un placer ver este album. Un cordial saludo. Jesus.

Es estupendo poder conocer, a traves de reportajes como el tuyo, las costumbres y tradiciones de los pueblos. Me han encantado los trajes, los niños, los ancianos los caballos, las flores... todo!!! Pero una de las cosas que mas me ha llamado la atencion es la belleza de las mujeres de tu querida Cerdeña. Ahora entiendo por que tambien tu eres tan guapa! Splendido reportage ed immagini interessanti.... stupendi i costumi... ma le foto con i cavalli sono le mie preferite! la 86 in particolare esprime bellezza e vitalità ed aiuta ad assaporare la partecipazione ed il coinvolgimento della Sagra. Il tuo album insieme a quello di Ruggero sul "raduno&quot ; degli spazzacamini rappresenta quanto di meglio si possa produrre quale testimonianza fotografica di splendidi eventi collettivi (almeno su WS non ho trovato finora altri reportage di questo livello....). Patrimonio dell'umanità e documento di grande rilievo. Leggendo i commenti degli amici che mi precedono devo dire che sono pienamente daccordo con tutti. L'album deve essere visto come documento e come testimonianza di un eveno storico culturale. Su ogni foto si potrebbero fare mille considerazioni, ma in un contesto così quello che conta è l'insieme e, quindi, il reportage nella sua interezza. Congratulazioni. Maurizio.Italy

Cara Simona, non temere, questo stupendo reportage non va giudicato con criteri fotografici, ma come documento etnografico e antropologico sulla cultura della tua isola. Che fierezza nei volti degli uomini e dei ragazzi, che orgoglio e senso di dedizione mostrano le donne. Se stata bravissima ad immortalare i momenti piu’ significativi. Questa sagra mi ricorda vagamente l’esperienza che vissi 25 anni fa in Spagna dove in una tappa di trasferimento dalla costa verso Madrid mi imbattei, in tarda serata ad Albacete in una feria in costume dove tutta la gente partecipava entusiasta con cortei che duravano tutta la notte tra esibizioni, esecuzioni bandistiche e rappresentazioni storiche. Bene, l’atmosfera che traggo dalle tue foto e’ piu’ o meno simile. Complimenti quindi per la grande perizia nel trasmettere la magia di questa sagra che non conoscevo ma la cui storia sto approfondendo grazie ai molti siti sull’argomento predisposti dai tuoi entusiasti concittadini. Un ringraziamento infine per la tua attitudine a coinvolgerci nel condividere l’amore per la tua terra e per le sue tradizioni. Un grande abbraccio da Claudio.

Immaginavo che avessi esagerato con l'autocritica e quest'album mi conferma che hai davvero ESAGERATO! You have created a wonderful album in a really difficult situation! The distance between your position and subjects was big, they are in movement, light was hard, etc etc...... anyway you have created a WONDERFUL collection that I LOVE! I can say that PROBABLY you will not have the deserved success that is correct for this photos, but the reason is that in Webshots people look only at landscapes and flowers, and NOT at the TRUE quality of shots. I have selected as favorites many photos like: 4, 8, 10, 17, 25, 27, 31, 46, 47, 50, 54, 59, 62, 65 and 84. Like Renato I hope in a feature, but....... TI ABBRACCIO e ti scrivo alcune note tecniche privatamente. BRAVISSIMA E TROPPO MODESTA!!! CIAOOO Ruggero

Cara amica Simona! Ma a che spettacolo ci hai fatto assistere! Hai fatto delle bellissime fotografie e avevi dei dubbi? Sei stata stupenda nel fotografare volti e costumi, fiori e colori.
