  • Hi There, While browing I cam across your webshpts pic collection of Cartwright. I was curious because I have relatives who I have never met who live there. Mr Samual Fequet is a great-uncle of mine. He was a brother of my Grandfather. I am originally from Old Fort Bay. Quebec. He is the descendent of one of the two brothers who came to the Gaspe area of Quebec in the 1840's from The Channel Islands (Jersey). They stayed there for two years and then migrated to the Lower North Shore of Quebec (St Augustine, Old Fort, And St Paul's River area)Enjoyed viewing the area where Uncle Samuel and Uncle Harry eventually settle. Hope to visit some day soon.
