  • Good freezing morning, Big Daddy. I just got back from Eric102 diving maldives album and thought the pacific ocean would cool me off, whoa, did it ever! Thanks for these wonderful pictures of the most beautiful coastline on God's Green/and blue Earth! You've seen quite a bit when you were in Oregon and that is great. Nature is so diverse there from the fog shrouded cliffs of the coast, to the moss covered trees in the Coastrange Mountains, to the fertile willamette valley, the aweinspiring Vulcanoes of the Cascade and the wonderful, ever changing desert - I LOVE OREGON!!!!And thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures!   • Dear Ken, Thank you for these photos. They mean a lot because my husbands family live in Eugune Oregon & in 1999 I stayed in a camper on hwy 101 called Arizona beach I believe & it was so peaceful. I am a water person!!! Lakes,and Oceans give me so much peach. Now the mountains are also. How can anyone look at the beauty of the world and not know that there is a God. Your pictures are a blessing to me.   • Ken, Thanks again for the comments in my Maine and New Hampshire albums. Bob and I have another New England fall album under http://community.webshots.com/user/rmr2u, which includes photos that we both took when out in New England. Your Oregon Coastline albums are gorgeous. I think that the vacation I have enjoyed the most was when we were in Oregon and traveled down the coast. We saw lots of the lighthouses, but we had lots of foggy, hazy days and I haven't put the photos on Webshots yet. Hope you get a chance to view Bob's albums. Thanks and God Bless. Sharon

  • Looks like you love the Oregon coast as much as we do. We have spent lots of time between Brookings & Waldport & then always headed inland at that point. You have some great pictures of the ocean with the water crashing on the rocks. I love that! So different from the east coast. Flo

  • Ken-you're not going to believe this, but I had a great-great aunt named Yaquina, after the city in Oregon! My grandfather's grandfather, Otto Krogstad, was from Norway. My great-grandmother, Agnes Victoria, was born here, as were her 6 sisters, one of them named Yaquina. They were settlers of Oregon and I suppose that Yaquina Bay made quite an impression on them! I have a neat photo of all of the daughters together. It just goes to show you what a small world it is after all! sweet remembrances, Paulette

  • Can't help but pick out favorites, though all are beautiful. The lighthouse and also the coastline in fog are wonderful photos and if I continued to paint, would be great studies.
