Hi Gladys, Thankyou so much for your G/B entrys. I appreciate them very much. You asked if I Zoomed in on Blackpool Tower, well no, as it is a new camera, and I am not sure how to use it as yet. These are the first photos I have done with it. But you found it, you are the first. You have some beautiful photos in your album's, you will be featured again soon. Love and best wishes. Ray and Eileen. (UK)

Hi Gladys. Good to hear from you again and many thanks for your entries in my latest two guestbooks. The Kalbarria album, of course, is an oldie from last year to which I just added the osprey and her nest. We have been giving a bit of thought to a few days away in a couple of months time but not sure as yet which way we'll head. I would like to do Exmouth and Coral Bay but it's a LONGG way to drive. I know we could fly up but it is such a hassle getting from here to the airport. I would have thought you might have had another trip this year, or is that still to come? Take care, Peter

Dearest Gladys, first want to thank you so much for visiting my albums and leaving such lovely comments, along with my feature album a week ago! Really appreciate it, many thanks. I love in this album all the many beautiful tree shots, the gorgeous Jarrah and the grass tree too. It always amazes me that, that particular tree only grows 2 cm a year!!!! So to see one that is considerable size is pretty cool. A relaxing place to sit and watch nature soothe all the stresses away. WA has so many wonderful places like that to just escape to and really immerse yourself in the solitude and beauty. Thanks for sharing this peaceful album and wishing you have a wonderful weekend ahead with lots of smiles, laughs and plenty of hugs, amy

Hi Gladys! You're so right. This place would be perfect for a picnic. My goodness, it's been so long since we've been on a picnic; this makes me want to go on one. Thanks so much for the congratulations on my featured album today. It was certainly a pleasant surprise. Have a wonderful weekend. Sharon

Hi Gladys, thanks for all the additional information about the Eucalyptus! Yes I have to see it by myself! An other reason to visit Australia! :-) Thanks for all the compliments about my last two albums. :-) ALL the cats around here are strays and most of them are sterilized and vaccinated by an organization for the welfare of the cat. But every once in a while there are some kittens around. I haven't seen them for 2 days . . . who knows what happened to them. Things are taken care of very quickly. Tomorrow I go back to regular work. What a pity! There are so many pictures left I have to sort . . .! Maybe on regular life there is time to do this. Have a wonderful weekend! :-) Galit

Hello dear Gladys. Is this your weather in May? Aren't you meant to be in Autumn? Those 'blue' skies are wonderful. Another great album where you have taken so many photos to show us all what a wonderful area you live in. Very informative too. Thank you so very much for your kind words in my Hostas album. Happy you dropped by. My holidays are nearly over. No more travelling for a while. Back to school on Tuesday. Have a good weekend Gladys. Luv n'hugs Jayne xx

Nice photos Gladys and it is many years since we were last at Serpentine. But were these recent photos? Surprising to see the dam looking so full that's all! I remember when we visited - it would have been late winter of 1994 - there were several little blue wrens hopping around wherever we looked. Serpentine, by the way, is the first of the dams we visited after our arrival out here in 1970 so it does hold memories for us. Peter

Hi Gladys, thanks for this wonderful album. So many trees for me :-) and so much water! I like pic.#17 with it's wonderful trees and reflections in the still water and #23 with it's shady trees, the large trees in # 24 and the young trees in # 27 against the blue sky! The bark in the sunlight in # 30 looks strange, not much like the Eucalyptus we know here. # 37 is a huge shot of that twisted tree. # 41 the re-growth shows the amazing regeneration of nature. The trees look fresh and green. Did you take the pictures some time after rain? They look gorgeous your wonderful trees. Many more thanks for all the information you put there for us. A huge project this dam! WOW! Have a wonderful day! :-) Galit

Hi Gladys...I love it, and even though I haven't been there, I feel that I have and that is the thing about Australia. I remember what a lady who came out from America said...that when she got off the plane in Aussie...she felt this tremendous Peace. She said she had only felt that one other time in her life before.....and this here album...the picnic places and the many gorgeous views of the dam and the bush surrounds and the people wandering around enjoying, is the stuff that has always been Australia. Pack a picnic and head off....I loved the Panorama shot..and View of Dam 3 and the beauty of the water in that shot. I went to a little waterhole when away the passsed few days...and it is always a delight. Loved the pics of the Jarrah and the bark as these are just a magnificent specimen of a tree..and awhile back I found after looking, the trees that one can climb up..I used to climb high when a child, but when I looked down.....I was..'thinkin of green snakes...the long climb down...and why did I do it"...but I kept going back up. And Al is right....beautiful blue skies.! Well as you can gather, I totally enjoyed the walk with you Gladys and the photos are just lovely, trees plants and nature shots gorgeous and the album...very informative and well done. Tks heaps for sharing the Picnic Places with us and have a really great day....I better give you a hug Gladys, as can't let Al get it all....lol!!!....kindest regards and Hugs.....Em

Hi Gladys, "Rebirth Around Tree" is known as a 'nurse' tree around these parts, the center one that's dying back in your picture. Have many species that have starts like this, the myrtlewood is one, the redwood is another. A real nice album of wood and rocks. "Moss and Lichen" is an interesting photo, as is the Tree Bark photo. Looks a but like ponderosa pine, but not in this case. We had two days of more rain here and we're expecting high winds starting tomorrow. One would think that we're back in November of last year!! Thanks again for your invitation and letting all of us see what your camera lens is finding nowadays. How're you feeling? Ron/Oregon Coast
