Hello Jayne - yet another great idea for an album! Your shots so far are great too, especially the station. I have a St. George's flag shot in my Exmoor National Park album - stop by for a peek when you get a chance. Cheers and hugs, Beth

Hi Jayne, had to come back to this one, I love Castles. To answer you question re when we came here. 8th May 1960 left Tilbury dock on P&O ship "Orion" and arrived Sydney 10th June. Wish I could come back for a visit, but too many commitments here. And as you say It's a very long way. All the best to you and your family. Chris Charlie and Jay

Fly it higher and higher, thats what I say, as an old Navy man I should be flying the flag down in Portsmouth. Great idea Jayne, It would be interesting if this one got a feature would it not. Well you predicted it, and thankfully you were right. I'll mark your judgement 10 out of 10 lol. Should reach 100.000 after this, not bad for 4 months. It is thanks to you and our many Webshot friends and I thank you and all of them from the bottom of my heart for all the kind words and encouragement given to me. thanks again Ken

Dear Jayne, If I had a George Cross flag it would be flying from my home today! As I said to Meg, my heart goes out to you and all of your fellow countrymen as you struggle to deal with the tragic events of yesterday. One by one the countries of the world are being touched by the evil hand of terrorism, with wounds whose scars will never completely disappear. My prayers are with you. Love, Beth

Hi Jayne, if ever an album should be featured it is this one now, I totally concur with everything you say, and dont worry our resolve will and always will be the same. In fact when this sort of thing happens our backs go up even futher, You know the old saying about a hornets nest, Keep that flag flying high, it certainly will not be lowered by a gang of thugs and cowards, Good on yer Jayne, Ken

A terrific patriotic theme, of the St. Georges flag, it is a wonderful thing to be proud of where you come from...this album is a fun collection. Hello Jayne, I was happy to see you stopped by my albums for a visit. It's always good to hear from you. This album is great! The first two photos are wonderful. That so very blue sky is the perfect backdrop for your beautiful flag. I do have a question. Why does one flag have lions (griffins) and the other one does not? Well...I won't make this too long because I know you are trying to get all your replies out to other WS friends. Take care of your wonderful self. Say hi to Hattie for me. Lots of love 'n' hugs. Hi Jayne, Nice album here, the English do get around, flags and all; son in law owned a Mini, used it just for school and sold it for another vehicle when finished with school. Got your note this morning, then checked WS. Missing just one album, 300 gb's and 60K +/- views. Looks like WS is going to owe ALL OF US a free year before everyone takes the plunge and gets out of their site. You should catch the BLOG write-ups, as you're not the only one...and WS needs to know how many are ticked to the core. Add your write-up and WS can add more folks that are sore at their system. I haven't trusted their numbers for six months now, quite ridiculous. Thinking of finding another site and dropping WS completely. Add to the BLOG site! Take care and thanks for your note. Hi Jayne. I think I had noticed these flags before but never knew the story behind them. Was it the official flag of a part of the UK originally or what? Very warm here (110F degrees in the shade today). Come in the springtime or fall so it is not so warm and one can enjoy a walk through the parks! Jim

Hi Jayne! Yes, I have viewed this album several times. The ones I like the most are the ones taken on such old landmarks. I did take a couple photos of the flag last June in Washington, D.C. while we were there. One was in the Capitol Building. I would love to go to Philadelphia sometime - I'm sure they have lots of red, white and blue there. With July 4th coming up soon I should be able to get lots more right here in Columbus too. Enjoy! Hi Jane, Great Album. A lot of work went into this & it's very interesting & at times amusing, but great to see everyone supporting their team. Thanks for the comments on my Grand Canyon album. When you are in Vegas this summer please try to get to Zion and Bryce Canyon. Just eautiful. You will love them.

Hi Jayne, your comments about my shots flatters me but I don't deserve so much. I appreciate very much you flags collection (I like very much the flag of St.George because it is also the Genoa's flag - I lived in Genoa 14 years)I appreciate very much your amazing Country but now... there is the world cup of football and I must be a fan of Italian team. Hoping to read you again and frequently I send you a big "GRAZIE". Peppino.

Hi Jayne, thanks for your very kind words in my Royal Poinciana album. I really appreciate it. You could not leave comments under individula photos simply because I disabled this feature... I was afraid of receiving too many e-mails. I wish you a wonderful weekend, and good luck in the game tonight against Portugal. I hope you'll still be proud to be English! Take care, Yair.

Hi Jayne; Thanks for inviting me to come and visit your flag album. (As you can see, I got a little sidetracked by your postal box album on my search.) It is wonderful to see how patriotic your country is as well. I really enjoyed your album. Thanks for sharing and also for visiting mine. Happy New Year! Hugs, Marjie
