    • Hi Beth! Thanks for the congratulations on our featured album yesterday of the Elephants and Orchids. I enjoyed your album very much; I must admit I love the photos with the beautiful blue skies the best, but that's just my personal taste and the fog in SF always creates a wonderful mysterious romantic feel. Congratulations on getting a new camera! Have a great week. Sharon (and Bob)

    • Hello dear Beth. I am sooo impressed with your new additions. New camera eh? You must be very pleased with the results too. Wow, very nice indeed. I didn't realise Bouganvillia's came in shades of yellow and oranage. I'm only familiar with the bright pink variety we see so often in Italy. What a difference a 'BLUE' sky makes. The comparison between photo 1 and 52 is amazing. I know you don't mind a dull day, but personally I am never as happy as when I see a blue sky. I loved shot #52 of the Coit Tower. Beth, I want to thank you so very much for your thoughts and concern about us all here in the UK following the traggic terrorist attacks in London yesterday. You in America have personal experience of this evil doing and so your sympathy is very much appreciated. Take care dear friend and keep safe. Luv n'hugs Jayne xx

    • Yes it's true Beth. I take all my OLD albums with a different full automatic digital camera. It was my first tool of this type and I used it only to take some shots as a souvenir. In past I used for quality shots only my LOVED analogic reflex and I have some good photos about Amsterdam (for example) that I taked with it. Anyway I haven't a good scanner and MAINLY I haven't free time to transform them....

    • Hello Beth and many thanks for your comments in my guest book. Greatly appreciated. This has given me the opportunity to browse some of your other albums and this particular one is a real beauty. It is certainly a city of flowers and the bougainvilleas are super - we have those too in various shades of colour. Keep well, Peter in Western Australia

    • As I wrote in your featured album (APPLAUSO!!!!) I was browsing this collection with a question in my mind.... "how is possible that I miss it??". In true I don't understand (I check every day my list of favorites), but I'm SORRY!!! I hope you will pardon my "forgetfulness" !! The album is beautiful; fos sure weather don't help your job with this foggy atnmosphere, but I have see that your search of colors have a good success. You know that colors are always in my mind and that I love macros so my favorites are 6, 10 and 35. An interesting and beautiful reportage with some precious shots on it! A BIG HUG and again COMPLIMENTS for your deserved premium! Ruggero_____________ PS: say at Les that I haven't many free time, but only a BIG patience. I take my fishermen shots on August 2004 :-) !

    • Hi Beth. Thanks for the invite to have a look at this album. It was very enjoyable. The city has some beautiful flowers, especially the roses and the Bouganvilia. I think they must have built Sanfrancisco where they did knowing that some day in the future movie makers would need some steep hills for great car chasers.lol. The steepness in some places is amazing.Stay well my friend. Hugs from Oz. Al.

    • Beth! Come ringraziarti? Un abbraccio a te e a Les. A presto. Ale :-)

Simona

    • Dear Beth, I've already noticed the release of this album and now I found time to delight into it! If I EVER visit the States, it will most certainly start with San Francisco!!!You have here a couple of very good shots:# 2/15/17/18/27/32. Photographically, they are well ballanced and interesting. Photos that I love:#3/from #3 to #8 (the garden on several levels is very attractive)/#21/#12 (lovely gladiolus)/13 (I love yellow flowers). It makes a very big difference to watch an album inside the Desktop Installation, you get a different idea of what you see. Thanks for this little walk in your city. Friendly hugs from Gabriela

    • Hello Beth! Well, certainly you have had a great walk! It may not have been blue skies, but the flowers and you do not seem to have noticed it at all. I love the various angles from which you viewed the city. The flowers are all abloom, especially the bougainvilleas, the hydrangeas, the fuchsias and the marguerites! Lovely colours! It is always such a soothing walk when one encounters beauty on the way. Thank you for sharing your afternoon walk with us. You must have kicked up quite an appetitie doing this !! Best wishes, Suresh

    • Hello dear Beth. What a lovely album you have here. I spent a week in San Francisco in 1998 but never got up close to Coit Tower, so thanks for showing me what I missed. Fabulous photos as always. I didn't realise you worked in San Francisco!! What do you do in the city? That means you must live close by - WOW!! What a great way to spend your lunch hour. You must be very fit to climb all of those steps. Looks like there were a lot of them. But to get cracking photos like this, it was well worth it. The Bougainvilleas are stunning and reminded me so much of Italy. Beth, thanks for taking a peek at Hereford. I was so disappointed with the weather. Photos just don't look as good as they do when there's a 'blue' sky around. Hope you'll visit my Hay album when you get time. I thought of you as I walked around. What an amazing place. Would have loved to have stayed for longer. Didn't realise it was in Wales, oops... Still miserable, windy and cold here today. That's typical British weather I'm afraid. Take care dear Beth. Warm hugs. Jayne xx

    • Beth my wonderful story teller and artist, this is soooo beautiful, what an enjoyable walk with you to this well known and famous place in San Francisco. I think that foggy day made it much more beautiful and romantic. I would not be surprise to see this featured pretty soon, because you made such wonderful shots that well deserve it. I am so glad to be the first and that is because I am a night owl... Love and hugs /kathy
