Dear Judy. Thanks for the invitation. I'm going to check carfuly the photos in this album. Thank you very much for your most kind words in my last "America here and there" album . As I told you 1982 was my first of many visits to the U S A. This visit left on me a big influence. As an tourist, I could see things a local didn't saw. I shared those times expirience that I will never forget. I drove a brand new " Tunderberd " car that was rare in places I had visited. Few times I was stoped by locals how talk with me on the car they appreciat. I remember stoping those times at motel 6 , paying for extra bleak and white T V at my ascetic small room.....:)RAN

HI Judy; Some of these pictures looked familiar, but I don't think I have seen this album entirely before. What a treat to go from sea to shining sea. You got some wonderful captures and it was fabulous seeing some places that I have not visited before. Hugs, Marjie

Hi Judy, It's hard to keep up with all your albums. I didn't see this one. The Slide show is nice but it keeps me from commenting on the pictures. They are beautiful and the awake memories of some beautiful RV trips. Thanks! Mex-bug hugs Heidi

Hello Judy, A belated thank you for sending a message when my Flowers album was featured. I've enjoyed several of your albums. Congratulations on your featured album. It is very nicely done of alot of places. I see from your profile that we are both nurses. I think the new profiles are neat as I'm nosey and enjoy learning about people as well as viewing their photos. Happy travels and looking forward to more of your photos. Donna, NY state

Hi Judy, You certainly have reason to display this image proudly. The view from the mouth of the tunnel is certainly one of the most beautiful views of Yosemite Valley and without a doubt the most dramatic entrance into any of the national parks I have visited. I particularly like the way you used that pine branch to frame the scene. Greetings from Florida, Paul. The blue skies have already returned here. They probably should have returned there also.

Hi Judy, This must be a very nostalgic album of the places you have been and for the memories it must bring. I think it's grand. Since I think Yosemite is probably my favorite place in the whole world, I'm partial to your pictures from Glacier Point and from what I think is Tunnel View. You must have been there fairly early in the spring. Nevada, Vernal, and Bridalveil Falls are running pretty full. How I would love to get back there again! Greetings from down-state, Paul. P.S. I'm glad you like my latest additions to my Everglades album. I was hesitant because I had already included so may Great Blue Herons and Snowy egrets in that album. Thanks for your encouragement.

Judy-bug, thank you for your comments in my GB for today's featured album. This is my first feature and I am honored, excited and a bit overwhelmed by the response. You know how that is, having had featured albums yourself. Your albums, especially the US Highlights, are spectacular. Thanks again. Bill - Texas

Hello Judy, first may I thankyou for your 3 vists & very kind comments to my albums. Second, I see this album was featured back in the "old days of 2001" & you only had 11 congratulation messages, it would be a lot more now the membership has expanded so much!Especially like the red clover photo. We love touring the USA have been several times (twice this year!) & have cruised from Florida several times. My photos from all our visits are on my other name of ericy102, have to run 2 names now as 3000 limit caught me out= should have upgraded earlier! Also see from your profile that 1959 is a significant date for you as well as us! & you have a Beetle but a modern one, we had 4 of the old ones years ago, starting with one that had a oval window in the back! Hope you do get over to visit your friends in Norwich one day, Norfolk is a facinating & historic area when you delve into it. Rest of the Country thinks it is flat & uninteresting, thats OK by me, means it is better for those of us "in the know".Best wishes. Eric

Hi Judy. I'm wearing the wrong hat so I better explain. I'm also shortshooter, OK??. Thanks for visiting my "Tulip Farm" and part 1 of "The Trip". I'm still putting the rest of the trip together as it only happened in the last two weeks. This album is most enjoyable and I love it from start to finish.Yosemite is always a favorite of mine as are the Tetons. I've not seen red clover before. The giant redwoods are something else. I love the coast shots of both California and oregon. The golf course in Denver is beautiful as are the sunflowers. The section on the Amish is very interesting and enjoyable. The Florida shots are excellent. As well as the water shots I love those trees with the moss hanging from them. I see that it is a featured album and so it should be. Thanks for sharing Judy. Catch you later when I come back for another look. Hugs and best wishes Al..

Hello Judy. Thanks for the wonderful tour of the U.S. via your great photos. You have shown me places that I may never visit, but am more eager to see now that I've seen your pics!! I was especially interested in viewing your Amish scenes. The little that I know about this community, I find them fascinating. 'Pumpkins for Sale.....' #50, is a terrific shot. My other favourite is #55, 'Lake Lindsey Cypress'. So I think CONGRATULATIONS are in order here on having this album featured. Very well deserved if I may say so. I know I'm a little late with my compliments, but what's a few years between friends... Thanks for your kind comments about my Rainbow album and the Scarecrows. Glad you liked them. I am always so happy to hear from you. Take care. Luv n'hugs, Jayne xx

Hi Judy, First you are learning about Scotland and our country now its my turn to learn from you about your country and the lovely rural places I think Amish is delightful. Thank you so much for your GB entries, I wondered if putting road names was useful but if you are using maps to work out where we went then I will continue to do so. I have computer problems at the moment so it might be a while before I get to post anymore pictures but trust me you will need your map again :o)Thank you so much for you comments they are lovely and knowing someone is enjoying them means I will continue. Take care now and I really enjoyed viewing these pictures Jill

Another great album Judy, thanks for the tour around the US my favourites are the Missoula MT and Wyoming's Grand Tetons. On the subject of Midges, you get them all summer, but they are at their worst in August, so bad that we could not stay out at the weekend, no repellant seems to work, I did buy a net a bit like a beekepers but it is hard to see the LCD screen on the camera with it on, Doug kids on he is not with me as it looks pretty extreme measures against the midge. LOL My son will be in Orlando and area from Saturday. Louise

I typed " Sea Lion Caves" in the picture search and was very surprised and pleased to get your pictures. I love it when people title their pictures so I can find them. I am 64 years old and remember these caves from when I was 10 years old and again when I saw them at 40 years old. They look the same now as they did then except when I was 10 we had to walk to the caves on old wooden steps that barely clung to the sides of the cliff. Very scary but changed completely now. Much safer. Thanks for the memories and VERY good pictures. Lola
