  • Thanks very much for sending this to me, my family livedin Brest Litovsk until the beginning of the 19th century most perished in the Holocaust and I would be grateful if anyone can give me any information about the following: Segal, Chipolear (her married name) and any of their descendants, of which I am one. Kminik and theirs.. If anyone has a list of survivors, or people that lived there, I would apprecaite receiving it, or if anyone could tell how to research I am quite new to this, would be grateful for any information. My great grandparents emigrated to England but I think that they were on their way to the US and never got there. Many thanks for reading this message. Sharon Avraham

  • Wow! Great and exciting project. My great grandmother died in Brest-Litovsk in about 1893. Is there anyway that we can check the records and find the exact date of her death? Her name was Sora Kaplan. Stanley Kaplan, NYC
