Hi, Eti, As one who appreciates our Florida state and local forest preserves, and who has often driven alongside the Ocala National Forest, I enjoyed the closer look at this beautiful forest. Without making this a political statement, your photos of the forest's devastation is another testimonial to this administration's policy of doing what's "good for business interests" above the interests of the public. Hi Eti! Congratulations on having your album featured today. Although timber harvesting is not a pretty sight, if the Forest Service is as consciencious as the timber companies in the South, the area will be immediately replanted and with the pine growth rates experienced in that part of the country, there will be a new forest just like the previous one in a matter of 30 years or less. It is just another agricultural product but taller. Newly harvested fields of any sort are not a pretty site. With good forest practices we will continue to enjoy the products that are made from trees that our society has learned to depend on every day. Not only that, there will be trees in various stages of growth for everybody to use and enjoy including the wildlife species that are associated with them. Hopefully, development pressures are not high so your forestlands will remain in that category and the land will not be converted into a residential or commercial use which will make the outcome of this harvest truly negative in a natural sense. Good job! I sympathize with your temporary (hopefully) loss. Jim

Hi Eti! Congratulations on having this album featured. There isn't a lot left once the trees are gone is there! You had a few shots in here that I particularly liked but I don't remember the numbers. One was a panorama that had an old building and an eagle flying in the distance. Another one had trees reflecting in the water and you had one of a road that showed all the dips as it went into the distance. Hello Eti, A forested scene!! Thanks for the invitation. Downloaded #9 and #10. What kind of seeds in #10. A NF and the logging a portion of it, surely NOT for forest fire purposes? A State law here that the land has to be planted within a year and the fines are heavy and administered. Also noticed that Ocala has a bit of a brush problem and if picture #2 was the kind of problem we had here, we wouldn't have a problem at all. A nice album all around, you've a good eye and your narrative fits the photos. Is your vocation photojournalism?-your tip of the iceburg...nice. Ron/Oregon Coast

Hello Eti. Thank you for the invitation. This is an album of very high quality, and shows many aspects of the Ocala National Forest. Besides being so beautiful this monothematicity could make it worth a feature. It looks that light was a little miserly that day, anyway you succeded in obtaining such beautiful light in some macrophotos: under this aspect I love 9 and 10. 14 has the art of an Ikebana and 17 has the beauty of a sort of minimalist macrophotography.
