I love the mountains and esepecially the photos with the trails. Must be nice to walk there. In one mountain photo I noticed a small village or town in the valley. Hello Kaethi and Heinz, I am sorry I have not visited you sooner, I was in Yellowstone for two weeks and then off on a business trip for a week. The Pyrenees pictures are wonderful and remind me of when I visited the Alps so many years ago. I love the mountain pictures and mountain flowers. Hi Kaethi and Henri,What a wonderful knowledge you have of all your varius wild flowers, my trouble is always trying to identify them. I have been away for the last 10 days in Cornwall, that is why I have not repled to your last very kind words in my GB. the roadside at the moment are full of Red Campion and Holyhocks and lots of othe wild flowers that I just did not have a clue what tey are, I feel really ashamed about that, but sometimes books can confuse even more. But back to your wonderful album of the mountains, the tracks that you were on are of the type that we love. great album that I have enjoyed very much Please take care until the next time Ken

Liebe Kaethi, in den letzten 3 Wochen habe ich eine Menge verpasst! So viele neue Alben! Offensichtlich hattet ihr einen wunderschoenen Urlaub. Die Bergblumen zusammen mit den einzigartigen Aussichten auf die Pyreneen gefallen mir am besten. So viele blaue Blumen! Die haette ich gut fuer mein blaues Album gebrauchen koennen, doch die meisten gibt es hier einfach nicht - wie zum Beispiel die Vergissmeinnicht und Akeleien! Auch Ginster, Pfingstrose und Primeln fehlen - doch wir haben dafuer andere Schoenheiten die hier bluehen! :-) Mein Computer war fuer gut 2 Wochen auf Reparatur. Eine Menge ist liegengeblieben. Es wird sichen noch eine Weile dauern bis ich wieder an neue Alben denken kann. Kaethi, ich hoffe es geht euch gut! Ich wuensche euch alles Liebe und Gute - Galit :-)

I'm not only impressed by the great vista's but also by your eye for the beautiful details of the nature. The Aquilegia pyrenaica and the Pinguicula grandiflora for instance are magnificent (how do you know all those latin names by the way?). It may surprise you but my favorite photo is Higher Up (23). Hi dear both of you! Sorry about this!! I made the dahlias a private album some time ago since I loaded these also up to a photography stock site, where they liked them a lot. Now I made them public again for a while only since I want to get permission to visit a dahlia nursery in the neighbourhood and wanted to show them my work. But they could not open the album when it was private they told me so I openend it again... There will be new photos soon...Greetz Anna

My Mom was born there...her mom married an American soldier in WWI... she came here when she was a baby... I can't even speak French ! Ugh ! Dumb Americans !
