Wow! Wow! Wow! I'd be willing to bet that you were absolutely in heaven shooting Yosemite. The most pending question there is where to point the lens next. The black and white photographs are the best. I could spend hours, as a kid, staring at Ansel Adams' photographs. You must be channeling his soul, because these are pure perfection! I was surprised and pleased to view your photos taken at Chilhowee Gliders here near Cleveland, Tennessee. My brother lives within five miles of this airport. The Hiwassee River runs through this valley and makes a lovely site for wild flowers. I wonder where you live and how you found your way to Tennessee. hdh1928@yahoo.com

Wow! Beautiful shots. You have so many lovely pictures but my favorite is the Dogwood and Sequoia, Tuolumne Grove- it is the beauty in the seemingly small that catches my eye, and you captured it. To say you have an exquisite taste is probably a ridiculous understatement, but that's all I can think of right now! Just one minor detail: please opt for a higher image resolution, like 1600x1200. That way the image doesn't have to be imported to webshots to grace our desktops!

Congratulations on this feature today, a great set of photos. Snowpack did not melt quickly enough for us! June 3rd we travelled down the 395 from Bodie to Bishop & hoped to go over Tioga pass into Yosemitee as we had seen it in the fall a couple of years ago. Pass was still closed on that date, but we still enjoyed some fantastic scenery along the 395. Eric

Hello, can I please ask if the picture of the bear was taken the evening of the 8th June on one of the main routes into Yosemite? We were there too and saw the same bear! We had just driven from Lake Tahoe on our honeymoon and stopped when we saw all the other cars stopped and saw the bear in the meadow below the road. I am now back in Ireland at my desk and are reminiscing about our great trip to CA. You must have been the person stood down in the tree's with the telephoto lens and I do believe wearing a Superman T-shirt?? - if this is wrong time then Sorry, but it looks very like when we were there and I do believe and having been told since, that bear sightings are very rare as we were there for 4 days following the 8th and not one more sighting. Congrats! Last year was my first time to the park and I was there for 4 days. "Sensory overload" is part of the park experience.
