  • Thanks for your comments on my featured album yesterday. Your thoughts are much appreciated. You have some very interesting shots here in your Ghost towns album - places I've never been as I've not yet been to Nevada. Charlotte in TX

  • Hi Eric, Gabriela sent me here, I really enjoyed viewing your album, it's my favorite subject matter! Great shots throughout! My favorites are #13/17; 42/43/46; 53/61 (I photographed the same one in Rhyolite - nice to see your perspective!) and the charcoal ovens are absolutely great shots with the mountains behind - wonderful. Tuscarora 2 is awesome! Best regards, Ina in Canada

  • Hi Eric: My! You HAVE traveled a lot and taken some wonderful pictures along the way. Travel is great and the fact that you share so much of your trips is really nice for the rest of us. Thank you for stopping by my Napa Valley album today and taking the time to sign the guestbook. I was more expecting the Downeast Maine album to be featured but the Napa trip was fun in spite of the rain. All the best, Ken - Maryland

  • Hi Eric, a great album of nostalgia and lost dreams. I could almost hear the wind whistling through these ruins as I viewed these wonderful shots. Many thanks for your entry in my Royal Botanic Gardens album, glad I could show you some of the things you missed. Thanks too for visiting my Fun at The Fair featured album. Greetings from Sydney, Keith.

  • Hi Eric excuse my bad typing, I am not a bad speller as a rule but reading this back it looks as if I should have checked it before I pressed the button, I am sure you got the gist of what I meant Ken abandoning,Prairie,

  • Hi Eric, Just spent an excelent half hour with the wife looking at these pictures. I read in apaper this week somewhere that a lot of pririe farmers are abandining there farms because of the long winter and short summers. Life these days there are just to tough for the modern man. It seems that when te mines run out thats what happens in Nevada. Them Kilns were very interesting as the last part of my working life I managed the drying and firing of bricks, about 10 million a week at one stage. so kilns are always of interest to me. all in all another very interesting album, and I still have one more to go, talk again soon Ken
