Memories of Napa Valley (Featured 8/24/2005)

Hello Ken, My belated congratulations with this feature. A well deserved feature for this album. I enjoyed viewing these pictures, and I especially liked the ones taken from the patio (19 and 21) looking into the valley. Thanks for sharing. I am sorry that it took a while before I had the time to visit you, but due to the many reactions I got on being featured, I could not get to you sooner. Good morning from Portugal, and congratulations for a nice collection being featured. I am late but have been on a 4 months vacation in Finland. Had a wondeful time with family and friends there. Your collection from Napa Valley and the Mondavy Winery brings back good memories from a nice trip we made as a group to your country years ago. Had to make a choise of wines for the group and the choise was Mondavi - and a very good one too. Even today can remenber the feeling we all had for that outstanding choise we had made. Hi Ken. So you have to wonder no more, you were right on. South Carolina, Murrell's inlet in and around Myrtle Beach. I've got some new ones not posted yet. Just noticed the one's from New England you have and can't wait to get a look at them. I love New England, Just seems to be an abundance of Color there although I haven't been able to get there (YET ;).

Hello Ken. Just had to comment on this wonderful album of yours. I was drawn to it perhaps because I am a wine drinker. Nothing sophisticated I'm afraid, cheap plonk my husband picks up in France - he's a long distance truck driver. My favourite wine though is Italian, through and through. Back to your album - shot #13, the outside view of the stainglass window, is fabulous and I loved the shot of the wine glasses too. In fact all your pics are great. Well done and thans for sharing. I met my wife there. We lived in Guilford for a year or so and then bought a house in Milo I have been in Maine 25 years and love it! We have 4 kids..2 boys and 2 girls and two are in college and two have graduated. I am now retired.No one ever gets over Maine once they have lived here.
