  • Fantastic shots of Yosemite! Your shot near the base of Bridalveil looks even wetter than you describe. I didn't go up that far and appreciate that you did. Thanks for sharing your photos. Bill, Texas.

  • Hi Ray, Yosemite is probably my favorite place on earth and your pictures amply demonstrate why. The only thing wrong is that so many people agree with me. I promised myself that the next time I visit I will do so before schools let out. I may miss the view from Glacier Point and Tioga Road, but I want to see those falls at their fullest and the valley flowers at their peak. By the look of the Yosemite Falls approach, that was probably when these pictures were taken. Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your recent entry in my Utah album.

  • Hello Ray, & thankyou for your visit to my Yosemite album. That was taken in the fall so nice to see your spring photos. We were along the 395 again this year on june 3/4/5 but Tioga pass was closed so could not do the planned viewing. Did not open untill 24th this year i believe. We love touring western USA so much to see. Eric

  • Ray, thank you for the nice comments in my guestbook for the Lava Beds National Monument. I cannot believe I am the first on this album. I love Yosemite and only visited for the first time last year after living in the Bay Area for over 20 years. It took moving out of state to get there. lol With regard to the Lava Beds, it does get extremely hot during the middle of the day. So if you plan on a summer visit, be in the caves during the heat. Don't miss all the side trips to the other things along the way in the park. And don't forget, it is desert! I hope you have a great trip. Lynn, Bonanza, Oregon
