Well, this place looks just as wonderful as it sounds! Your eye for photos and your sense for finding great hideaways are equally great - so much so, that I intend to suggest the Cook Islands to my hubby for our honeymoon/one-year- anniversary right away!! My husband and I are booked to go to Rarotonga on March 18. We are looking at staying in Landau House for 7 days, then Are Tamara for 5 days, 5 days at the "Main Island on the Beach" and then 11 days at the Sokala Villas. Hi Ken, your photos brought back memories of our wedding on Raro (May 13, 2000). We stayed at The Rarotongan Beach Resort, but hope to return to check on the growth of "our" coconut tree planted on the beach as part of our ceremony. Ken, I share the same opinion regarding the best area to stay in Rarotonga. The south side was extremely gorgeous and i hate to let others know our secret. We had also stayed in a rental house and were the only ones on that beach!.. we hope to return next year..
