Congratulations on your Featured Member honour! Looking thru your wonderful albums is a trip down memory lane. Moorea, Cook Islands and so many other wonderful places! Thanks so much, Ken, I'll be back. Have a wonderful weekend, Marita.

Well, this place looks just as wonderful as it sounds! Your eye for photos and your sense for finding great hideaways are equally great - so much so, that I intend to suggest the Cook Islands to my hubby for our honeymoon/one-year- anniversary right away!! Thank you for posting so much information to go along with your pictures. The information has made all the difference in trying to choose a place to hide away for a week or two... Best regards, Andrea Ottawa, Canada

My husband and I are booked to go to Rarotonga on March 18. We are looking at staying in Landau House for 7 days, then Are Tamara for 5 days, 5 days at the "Main Island on the Beach" and then 11 days at the Sokala Villas. Would you make any changes to that, either eliminating a place or changing the length of stay at each place? Hopefully you get this so that you can reply. My e-mail is momstjean@hotmail.com Thanks

Hi Ken, your photos brought back memories of our wedding on Raro (May 13, 2000). We stayed at The Rarotongan Beach Resort, but hope to return to check on the growth of "our" coconut tree planted on the beach as part of our ceremony. The rental house sounds like a better way to go for us next time. Thanks for the memories! deegee1552@aol.com

Hi Ken,enjoyed photos-my husband & i are heading to Raro in October 03 - staying at Palm Grove - your photos are adding to the anticipation we are feeling. We thought we had found an untouched paradise on Lifou, Raro seems a little more upmarket without the tourist rush. Regards,Judy.

Ken, I share the same opinion regarding the best area to stay in Rarotonga. The south side was extremely gorgeous and i hate to let others know our secret. We had also stayed in a rental house and were the only ones on that beach!.. we hope to return next year..
