I was born in Dumas and lived there until 1963. I have such wonderful memories of that town in late 1950s and early 60s. I went to school at South Ward School, still remember a lot of the kids, teachers and Mr. Fitzgerald the principal, a very kind man. Have not been back in a while, but am planning a visit in a couple of weeks, cant wait!

I am from Dumas, and love to be able to see these pictures and share the beauty of the Panhandle with my friends. Didn't thinnk it was beautiful when I lived there, but I just miss it now.
