Hello TJ – fellow New Mexico resident – and thank you for your wonderful comments on our "Jemez Fall" album. I love this album. We just got back from riding the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge RR (which we’ve published on Webshots) and discovered just how much we missed in Silverton. Our day on the train & in Silverton was very cold and rainy and we didn’t walk around and see much of the town. It’s especially amazing to see that you and I took the exact same picture. Yours is named “Remnants of A Mill” (#32). I had no idea that Silverton was so extensive and that there was so many beautiful buildings. Ed&Helen/Albuquerque

tj2052, Thanks for your comments on my Arizona & Utah photos. Your albums are great; I've added you as a "Favorite" and look forward to being notified when you post new pics on Webshots. We made it to Silverton, CO on the same May '04 trip out West (via the Durango/Silverton RR), but most of those shots were on regular film (developed, but not yet scanned; I'll try to get on that, and have them posted as soon as I can). Meantime, thanks for your compliments, and Merry Christmas! With best regards, Improb Knoxville, TN

Hi tj: Thanks for your compliment with "great pictures" - we return it with conviction and admiration: excellent reportage of Silverton and environs - how much we regret to have missed this part of NM, when travelling through. The old train journey must be particularly spectacular! - Best wishes from SWX France: Kaethi and Henri

Simply Awesome Captures of the beauty of Silverton...Brings back many fond memories when I traveled in the 1960's..spent the night in a one room cabin with outdoor plumbing..sure was cold..even during the summer months..You truly have an "eye" for beauty which is a gift from God...Thanks for the memories & for sharing with the rest of us on Webshots...God's Blessings from Texas...........Ken
