Hi Peter, I am seriously jealous 22 degrees in your winter and all that blue sky, sand and views. Absolutely fantastic pictures thank you so much for taking us along on your day out. I think I prefer your Scarborough too. I know I would just have to be one of those in that water. I'm not sure what has happened to our summer but after so many lovely hot days we are stuck with rain. Love and hugs now and dare I say anything about being the first one ? Or will someone else have snuck in while I have been writing this ? Take care now, Jill

Everybody looks real happy altough I would be too if we could have all that sunshine. I just noticed that Ray mentioned the temp as well I dont think his side of the country is any better than ours, Take care and love the album God Bless Ken

Hi Peter...Such a beautiful album and look at the stunning blue of the water and sky. You definitely have it made in the West and your photos are just supreme. The beaches and the fun action shots are fabulous my friend and I loved also the pidgeon pair and comments. Australia in Winter is a delight and you sure have enhanced the natural beauty with these great shots. The water does look divine and it is soo pristine and it is wonderful to know that there is soo much magic in this beautiful land. Great to see Betty gracing the pages in a couple of shots and I love the steps down to the Groyne. I am soo pleased to have seen this today as it is rather bleary and a little cool over here. Outstanding water shots and the scenery is gorgeous and I can feel the beauty of the day. You have done a beautiful job with this album and each and everyone is a delight and I am soo pleased and thankful that you shared your day with us all. I want to go for a ride in one of those boats and jump the waves. Who needs to cross an ocean to find paradise when one has it right at their back door. North Cottesloe with the green beach banks is WOW!! The water is just the most perfect of color and the sand is yummy!! I have to see these beautiful beaches oneday my friend....and I shall get there and more of these fantastic shots just fuels the fire. Take care and I loved this beautiful journey. Have a really great day...Hug & luv to you both...Em

Hi Pete. I can't get over the great shots you and our mate Gladys are getting. We are getting the beautiful days but all the trees are bare and so the good shots aren't here. I'll bet those people swimming are numb when they get out of the water. lol. Another winner from the georgieboy98 stable. Thanks Pete. I'll catch you later. Cheers Al..

Hi Peter, what a beautiful album of coastal scenes from Western Australia, the marine colour tones of the sea with those almost white beaches looks so inviting and you really have done a wonderful job in showing the beauty of the area. I particularly liked the ones featuring the watersports,I feel they are so typical of Australia and the way of life of so many there. Thanks for sharing them and your lovely comment in my featured GB today, appreciated my friend,Regards,Rod.

Dear Peter , I love your ocean, I love your photos..#1, 18, 20 with Betty at the top of the stairs is fabulous,24, 28, and 55 as my favorite masterpiece. You are a fantastic photographer and produce these albums with so much ease and swift. The water on # 17 is sooooo inviting!! I would say all and all a ripper, a total ripper. Hugs for you and for your lovely model: Mrs Betty/kathy

I want to thank you for your kind comments on my album. It gave me a chance to check your albums and I love your pictures, esp. the beach pictures. I live in New York City and the orchids pictures were taken during the International Orchid Show in NYC on April 2005.

Thank you for the very kind words about the model aircraft photos. Although R/C (remote control) Aircraft is mostly a hobby, the passion ingrained in the creation of these models is reflected by the meticulous attention to detail. The ultimate goal is to produce an exact duplicate of the full size aircraft in a scaled down size. Some of these aircraft have complete cockpits that look fully functional. The craftsmanship is outstanding. I just try to capture these “works of art” with photography. Sincerely, Phil Bousquet (aircraftmodels1)

Hi Peter! You have done a great job here of portraying our Driest July for 129 years (since records began in 1876)! It certainly looked and felt more like Summer! Many thanks for your kind words in my Marine Life album -- I was so surprised and thrilled to find my album in the spotlight today.. Best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia.

Hi Peter! I love this album and find it so hard to imagine that it is winter down there in Australia. I loved all the coastal scenes, but my favorite was the last photo of the city of Perth and the gorgeous colors on the trees and the blue waters of the river. Thanks for the congratulations on my featured album today. Hope you're enjoying your weekend. Sharon from Missouri

Peter, the colors of the waters off Australia's coast are incredibly beautiful. It amazes me how much they can apparently change based on conditons. They must be pretty warm too, since so many people seem to be enjoying them in the middle of your winter. That last shot of Perth is a real stunner! Hugs from Charlotte. PS: I'm going to visit a cousin of mine in Lubbock, TX next week, so I'll be out of the loop for a bit.

Hi Peter''The Perth from South Perth is just beautiful and you are soo fortunate to live near such a beautiful and seemingly pristine city. tks for the invite to visit Louise's album...I just loved it and that wonderful cow. Tks also for your great advice re the road and I am just saying a last cherrio before the computer goes back to my son this morn. He seems to be getting a little better though has his days where he says he feels like an old man with aching joints. I am only a planeride away if need be. Still got a few things to do, but today, the enery is starting to get a good buzz, and think I may not have a driving partner now, so say a prayer for me as not a great long distance driver....can get a bit noddy in the arvo son. Anyways, life shall provide and take care and tks for the kind words and have no doubt that if I get over that way eventually, I shall definitely be looking you and Betty up to take me to see some of that breathtaking beach scenery that seems to just abound over there. Catch you from Sydney,...God Bless and be good....Kindest regards...Luv & Hugs....Em

Hi Peter, to see this clear, bright, sunny pictures is really a relief for me, because, except for today, the last few days it is raining a lot, and most days are grey. And the forecast for the next days are not good either. We barely reach 19C, it is supposed to be summer! Back to the album, which I thouroughly enjoyed, and not because we have such bad weather. All the pictures are beautiful and I enjoyed them a lot, but nr. 1 (Perth) and the ones of the doves (#25, 52 and 56) are my favourites. Thanks Peter, also for your appreciation of the Raindrop Fascination album. Yes it was fun to be featured with this album, got many nice reactions, and I have tried to answer them all. Warm greetings, Els

Hello Peter. Lovely to hear from you. I'm now back from my Italian trip with over 700 pics to sort out!! It's going to take me a long time. Good job I've got 2 more weeks before I'm back at school, lol!! So, this is mid winter where you live.... Now I know why you left England. You may miss certain things about the good old UK, but it won't be the weather, that's for sure!! It's probably only 20 degrees here today. We've had a fabulous weekend, weather wise. Saturday we drove to the Cotswolds for the day, which was perfect. Lots of quaint villages with pub signs AND post boxes and afternoon cream tea... but today it's raining. That's a British summer for you and the reason why everything is looking very green at the moment. Apparently whilst I've been away, they've had a lot of rain. Anyway, beautiful photos here in this album. Lucky you having these gorgeous scenes on your doorstep. Keep in touch. Cheers, Jayne #####

Hello Peter, years ago our daughter vacationed in Perth to visit friends she had "penpal'ed" with (via the web, actually) since she was 10. She brought back a lot of amusing anecdotes such as ordering a "bacon, egg & cheese biscuit" at the local McDonald's and being ask why she would want that combination on "cookies". Your tour was fun. Thanks for sharing and thank you for visiting our "Balloon04" album. Ed/Albuquerque

CIAO Peter and THANKS for your continuous support and for your visits. Thanks also to show me the beauty of your country (and always some kayaks to :-) ) and to give me an idea of the other side of our little world. Shots are really good (number 7 is a true beauty) and your beaches are like usual fantastic. In this case you don't show me a wilderness environment, but I must admit that the human impact isn't so hard like I have see sometimes here in Italy. A great place for sure and GOOD shots! A BIG ciao from Italia and from your busy friend (vacations are behind me... :-( .....) Ruggero

Hi Peter, What a beautiful album! From your albums and those of Gladys, I get the idea that Perth seems to be just the right size city - large enough to have the creature comforts and amenities to which we have become accustomed and yet small enough to be very friendly and manageable. Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your warm comments today on my Zion album. Yes, we have been blessed with an extraordinary amount of natural beauty, almost all in our western states. You haven't done so badly yourselves. I seem to recollect that you have a little something called The Outback with a little gem of some renown called Ayer's Rock. We're not even going to mention your absolutely world class beaches and a little tidbit called the Great Barrier Reef. As for how much help I got from my digital camera - let me just say that I got tired of coming home from vacation with film and being heartbroken that the pictures which I expected to be among my best, turned out to be only good enough for the waste bin. I love the ability to view my pictures immediately, adjust and re-take them when necessary (more frequently than I care to say). I don’t show anyone the ones I discard.

I have been very busy of late what with (long term) visitors but I am on holiday now and will be heading up north for a few days. Hopefully I will get to take some suitable photos to upload another album. I have not had the camera out for soooooo long. I will catch up with all your other additions when I get back. hope all is well. G'Day Peiter! Oh god do I miss Perth and WA!!!You have no idea what viewing your photos has done to me I am sitting here with tears in my eyes. I went there 4 or 5 times while living in Singapore(Only 1 trip with Digital Camera though). It was my way to get away from crowded unfriendly and humid conditions. After a day there on Scarborough beach I was like reborn. My favourite place is Fremantle, especially the little Creatures Brewery where we enjoyed many a Rodgers Nail Ale and for Food the Pizza Bella Roma, awesome. I'll be back to visit the rest of your albums when things calm down here. Thanks so much for dropping by my way (and making me so homesick for WA!) Take care, Marita
