  • Loved all your Barra photo's..............Yes Barra is a Beautiful island I was born in Castlebay,Stella Maris was the name of our house, sadly don't go to Barra very often...But it will always remain in my heart! Thanks for sharing your lovely pictures. Maria

  • Hi Lesley, I'm delighted the Isle of Barra photos brought good memories back to you. With one thing and another, we didn't manage a trip there this year, even though it's not far away.   • Thanks for these pictures bought back many wonderful memories of my visits to this magical island including the interisland flight to Benbecula and back, I may be from the south of England but more than a little bit of me is there on Barra and the other islands too so much so that I have written more than one poem during my visits up there but one is a particular favourite of mine as is of Barra.

  • Hi, love the pictures! intresting seeing the 17-33 lifeboat in the bay we havent had that in a longtime, our boat is the 17-12. I am in the middle of building a website listing accommodation, activities and events on Barra and was wondering if you would be so kind as to let me use a few of your photographs?   • absoloutely beautiful,these pics brought a tear to my eye. Barra at it,s best!!!!!!!!!!! i may be a bit biased because i,m from there & only manage to get home once or twice a tear.
