Thanks for visiting my Zoo life album. Sac zoo is short for the Sacramento Zoo-here in California, and Cincy Zoo is short for Cincinnati Zoo in Ohio. These tulips are incredible. Beautiful work. Alyson

Hi Gladys; it's a great pleasure to view this album. I can never get enough of tulips and it seems that every tulip is different from the others. Very good work Gladys ! Thanks for sharing and thanks for your attention to my 'various scenes' and 'ducks'. Best wishes from Holland, Els

Hi Gladys, thanks for sharing the beauty of this garden with all of us. I love tulips and as you could see they also grow in my garden and many places in Israel. Thanks also for your kind comment in the guestbook of My Gardens album. Take care, Yair.

Hi Gladys!! great album on a fantastic garden!!! Thanks for signing my guestbook on my featured album on Tenerife! At first I did not expect much of the island as I expected it to be full of drunken teens just like many of the albums on Webshots (not yours of course…!) Parts of the island is spoiled by the many hotels, but I can see they tried to hire architects to make it better than plain ugly. Anyway in some places that succeeded. For the rest it is a beautiful island with still quite some little provincial towns. Nature is impressive in places as it is a volcanic island (in fact pretty young..) . It is one of my first albums; when my love for photography was still fresh & young. I made 3 albums on Tenerife (also one on a cactus garden and about my beloved boats) . All photos were made with my canon Powershot S30, a MERE 3.2 megapixel camera…on which people may look down nowadays. But at that time it was one of the best compacts (and I still cherish it: it is fast and has very little noise). I am sorry that I have not been doing a lot on Webshots lately, not uploading photos and not writing in guestbooks as much as I did. That does make me feel bad. BUT I WILL DO ANOTHER ALBUM IN THE FUTURE, I really promiss. I have not stopped making photos.. in fact I have been pretty busy. As you know yourself digital photography is a very addictive and expensive hobby… making you buy new stuff all the time… That’s why I decided to have a try at selling. Of course I am still in the red numbers… and I did make only a couple of sales (only enough to buy half of my Canon 350D). It is a very decent and professional Stock site with high standards (you get your photos rated by a team of professionals. Uploading low res files is free up to 10 MB; after that you can buy more space or either earn it by submitting good photos. But I would advise you if your photos get rated as a 6 or lower, do delete them as they will definitely do not get sold there. If you like you can have a look at my new dahlia and Keukenhof photos. Go to www.photographersdirect.c om and type the following 3 keywords in the searchbox: LISSE HOLLAND ZUID-HOLLAND Unlike webshots you cannot download them for screensavers… sorry about that! Greetings Anna Oldenhave, The Netherlands

Hi Gladys, Great collection! As my own work shows, I'm a great fan of photographs of a single flower against a dark background and none is more beautiful than your "Edged with Yellow". That one is certainly my favorite. I wish you a great weekend, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your several entries today on my guestbook. No one was more shocked than I when all the e-mail messages began arriving. And even more shocking was which album was being featured. I'm grateful, but shocked.

Hi Gladys. You would have to be happy with this album. The flowers are beautiful as are your photos. I don't know which tulips I like best but the orange and red ones are to beat. You've got me looking forward to our Floriade which starts next weekend. Thanks for sharing. I'll catch you later. Hugs Al

To my mind the winner in your wonderful album of tulips is the number 56 -Deep Pink, a true masterpiece, the lights, and everything. Thanks for sharing your nice collection. Congratulations. All the best wishes from Portugal, Antti

Hi Gladys, this is a wonderful Album! The place looks like Keukenhof2 with so many lovely Tulips. They add color to the spring! Your Macros are gorgeous, so clear and sharp. No wonder your views are climbing up very quickly so high! :-) Thanks for your wonderful messages. I have been too busy for a long time and I missed you! Really! You have always something more, some addition to my searches! This time you opened my eyes about that Loquat! Thanks for the information and the link! I added it to those pictures. Ones we had a garden with a loquat tree. It was small and had always lots of fruit. My son at age 5 fell down and broke his arm. The next day he climbed up again - not to miss the fruit he intended to pick the day before! :-) Have a wonderful day! Galit from Israel

Dear Gladys, a lovely, lovely collection!!! The tulips made me smile and the camellias are as beautiful as they are in Japan. You created a thing of beauty for all of us to enjoy! Hope it will turn into a feature. I'm glad you enjoyed my roses and wish to thank you for the very kind message! Friendly greetings from Gabriela in Japan

Hi Gladys.. thank you for your comments. I have only had time for a quick glance at your pics, from what I have seen...rather impressive. I have been in QLD visiting the Father who is not well. When I settled back in I will have to have a further look. Jet lag has the better of me tonight. Kind regards Claire

Gladys What a lovely place this is, and your tulips are beautiful, I love these spring flowers and have a special garden just for them at my house. This year I need to dig them up and replant. One big job for fall, which will soon be here in Oregon. Thank you for your visits and nice GB comments. Take care, Hugs, Laura

These tulip pictures are very beautiful, Glady. I like the ones of the yellow/red striped tulips, they are great. I also like the Camellia picture (81) very much, it is so delicate. This botanic garden is very beautiful as you show it in various garden scene pictures. Thanks for sharing this walk through the park. I enjoyed it! Thanks also for your gb entries in the albums Signboard and Pipi’s Place Rattery, and for the explanation which dog belongs to whom. I am looking forward to the new additions that will certainly follow. Have a nice week, Els (wely246/evanwely)

Good morning Gladys and I don't know how I missed seeing this album yesterday. You have done really well with these photos and captured all the colour and atmosphere of Araluen to perfection. We haven't been there this year but I see from your pics they have made a few small changes which are for the better. It's interesting that they get volunteers in every year to plant out those tulips. We had a pleasant couple of hours in Yanchep National Park again yesterday afternoon. Most of the walk trails are finally open except for the one that crossed the end of the lake - the bridge was burnt down in the fire and is not yet fully repaired. Now it's raining so no trips today! Hi Gladys, Wow is right!!, these are gorgeous and everywhere you look, there's more of 'em. I was looking for a favorite, but not having much luck. But, #81, a camellia is sure a beauty, white as white could get. A nice album for us to view. Thanks for the invitation. Best regards from this ol' Oregon coastline. Ron

Hi Gladys, What a fantastic collection of beautiful tulips! You Aussies must have great weather indeed to be able to grow such beautiful and elegant flower from more temperate climates and yet excel at also growing tropical beauties. Absolutely well done! Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. I've e-mailed a few of the members listed in the "Top Downloads" and the ones who have replied so far have the same problem with no posted downloads lately. That's just not right for albums listed in the "Top Downloads". As for me, Webshots has not even bothered to acknowledge my repeated e-mails.

Hello Gladys, I see spring has arrived in good time over in the West. The tulips are glorious, with so many varieties and lovely colours. The gardens look wonderful, it must have been a wonderful day out with your camera. What a privilege to be the first here to sign your guestbook! Keep up the good work, greetings from Keith.
