Ciao Maurizio, queste della Sardegna saranno si' foto "vecchie" ma per me, nuovo entrato, sono foto nuovissime. Innanzitutto ti ringrazio per il lusinghiero commento al mio album Bolivia Cile (anche questo e' vecchio, del 2004, ma credo sia piacevole da vedere e l'ho inserito in WS), e' sempre gratificante ricevere i complimenti da fotografi professionisti e creativi. In questo album i colori sono saturi e ben contrastati, bellissimi. Avrai notato che in "Bolivia Cile" ho caricato un po' i colori, le foto erano "smorte" e cosi' mi sono fatto aiutare da PhotoShop, in qualche foto credo di aver ottenuto dei buoni risultati,in altre decisamente no. Avrei piacere di chiederti se vui diventare un mio "friend" ma da qui credo non si possa fare. Grazie di nuovo, ciao Maurizio...Sandro

Dear Maurizio. I was in Italy the time you was featured in this albom. So I could't send you my regards. But you got my opinion on september, and I told you how wonderful and most beautiful is this albom. I had spent coupel of weeks in central Europe with my wife, half of the time was in Italy . My wife allmost "divrced" me for spending so much time caching phootos......Many thanks for your nice coments in my alboms. I do wish they will put one of my alboms as a featured one. (It's time to do it , and I like the filing....) As I told you, I was in north of Italy and had to be few hours in Milan that I came to visit from Lago-di Como. Grazie, Maurizio. I didn't add photos to my album, only added a note about Ruggero's album. Webshots displays every little change as an update, like happenned when you changed the caption of this album. Everything about this album is just perfect and I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing it all through your eyes. Parts of it are very similar to parts of our country, especially the beautiful white beaches and some of the coastline. And we, too, come across a snake's skin now and again (Sometimes there is still a snake inside it, in which case we beat a hasty retreat!) Hello Maurizio, thanks for your wonderful Sardinia album, as usual execellent photographs. Love how you captured various trnasitions of blues from sea to sky. Beautiful how you caught the soft warm evening sunshine with shady blue cold sea and rocks. Several pics show a color spots, a man's T-shirt or a canoe for example, on a more unicolorrd background, producing nice accentuations. You are good at that. Some extravagant sunsets with apricot colors. Excellent ambiente of solitude on the lonely standing lanterns of San Remy upside. The warm colored ruin over the dark blue Mediterrnean sea. And the snake skin !! What species is it?? Since I am a herpetologist with a particular fasciantion for snakes, I am curious. It is probably the common racer, ital. colubro verte e giallo I think, or a Biscia dal Collare. These two are the most common snakes on Sardinia. One question: Are you doing this alone or have a company? Did you visit Sardinia particularly for a photosession, or was there a different principal purpose? One of my brother has a Sardinian wife and a house on the island. Unfortunately, I have not made it there yet, but it is in my head. Finally, I received my labtop from HP today (or an altered version of it). So I should be able to continue with my Balkan Series the coming weeks, although I am extremely busy with three slides shows this months, travel preparations, essay writing and many more things. cheers, Konrad

Ciao Maurizio. Come vedi sono in ritardo rispetto agli amici ma sono molto preso perche' settimana prossima si sposa mia figlia e gli ultimi preparativi sono inconbenti. Il tuo album mi ha lasciato senza parole. So, per esperienza, che la Sardegna e' stupenda, ma le tue fotografie hanno immortalato un'isola ancor piu' bella, non le solite spiagge, i soliti scorci panoramici, ma qualcosa di veramente eccezionale che soltanto la tua vena artistica puo' permettersi di questi favolosi scatti. Sono molto contento anche per l'amica Simonetta, avere con se un artista del tuo livello e' sicuramente una cosa fantastica. Non parliamo poi della feature che se non dovesse arrivare, ti e' gia' giunta in anticipo dai tuoi amici, e secondo me conta di piu' da quella di un sito che tutti i giorni fa meditare la fuga. Maurizio...the contrast of colors and the splashing of the waves against the rocks makes this pic very intense, dramatic but refreshing at the same time.
