Hello Ruggero! This is as leisurely an album as I can think of. Taking your time, savouring every scene, no hurry, no missing of details or sights. I enjoy a trip like that. The countryside comes out vivid in your pictures - the vineyards, the olive trees, the picturesque towns and red roofed houses, an interesting church...all of them create an ambience that is unmistakably mediterranean. Hello Ruggero my friend. Long time no see. Have not been able to watch internet as I should have done here in Portugal now. Just came back from my summerholidays in Finland, and what have I missed? All your nice photoraphs like this hole album of your hidden Calabria. Something just sooo beautiful to watch at. Have to come back with more time later, now only reporting. Made my trip back home here from Rostock Germany altogether 3560km in two days. From now on have time to see what has happened in the different wonderful sites here in webshots community, and with all friends here. Have been missing all you, but hopefully can catch up what I´ve lost during the 4 months I have been away. Thanks Ruggero for sharing your talents. I agree with every word. Of course, if Webshots' response will be the first and last step, then it is meaningless. I have told them that we will keep following the implementation of their promised improvements. Indeed, it's a shame that the reply doesn't mention anything about the quality issue, but if Webshots will indeed improve their dialogue with us, then we can arise this issue. I believe that we have managed to draw some attention to the dissatisfaction of many of us, and hopefully Webshots will treat us more seriously.

Ormai la pubblicazione di un tuo album è un evento per la community! Lo dico sul serio, perchè tra grigiore generale e alterne funzioni di WS, la pubblicazione di raccolte come queste ci impedisce di mollare la presa. Forse ebbi modo di dirtelo o scrivertelo tempo fa, ma se continuamo a mantenerci in una cerchia di persone (anche se minoranza) che prendono sul serio la passione per la fotografia, che considerano la condivisione delle immagini non una gara, ma un mezzo comunicativo e migliorativo delle proprie capacità, allora vale ancora la pena di continuare. Delle foto ... che dire ... Fanno il paio con quelle di "Fields of my dreams": stessa meravigliosa definizione e cura dei colori, unita alla perfetta ricerca compositiva: d'altra parte, se ben ricordo, mi hai detto di aver scattato queste foto (almeno quelle della prima parte) in una giornata ventosa, con l'aria straordinariamente tersa. Finalmente anche questi meravigliosi paesaggi sono usciti allo scoperto. Non saprei proprio quale scegliere come preferita, forse hanno un fascino inimitabile le foto con il mare sullo sfondo. Poi, molto interessante la 010 per la geometria, linee di piante perpendicolari alle loro ombre, con il piccolo triangolo di terra rossa sul fondo: sarebbe stata ancora meglio senza gli alberi in primo piano, ma forse non hai potuto evitarli. Per quanto riguarda il mio ultimo album: hai ragione, ci sono troppe foto, ma ne ho già "eliminate" 100, e sinceramente non ho avuto il coraggio di escluderne altre; probabilmente l'entusiasmo per un tipo di escursione che non riuscivo a fare da diversi anni, mi ha fatto esagerare anche con le foto, facilitato anche dal fatto che durante la discesa ero da solo (ho lasciato la compagnia di alcuni amici al rifugio), quindi libero di fermarmi (e fotografare) senza timore di far attendere qualcuno. Chiudo il messaggio, scusa per la lunghezza... prolisso sia nello scrivere che nel pubblicare foto... mi sto allargando troppo, ma è colpa anche di WS, con la "brillante" idea di togliere limiti agli album!
