It was so good to see pictures of CampWapanacki. I went there from 68-78 and was heartbroken when I heard from a friend in the area that it had closed downa nd the Girl SCouts are there now. I am sure it isnt the same, she says it isnt. I would love to hear from any one that went there during hat time since I have lost touch with alotof the wonderful friend I made there when I was younger. It brings back so may memories.

Wow! CAmp Wapanacki! I still have the letter that I got from the New York Institute when they announced that they would be closing it. Well at least the Girl Scouts will keep it from getting turned into Condo's. I also have my awards and the one from the hike up Mt. Mansfield in 88 or 89 WHAT A BLAST.... Some of the places they call camps now are a joke. Real camping is not living in dorms with finished walls and air conditioning. I went there from the early 80's up until they closed. I was trying to become a JTP. I still have mmy JTP handbook. However there is one page missing about the camp history. I don't think there is another place that will ever comapre. Anyone go there in the 80's and early 90's? Love to hear from ya. Take Care Mobile Moose

Song by the camppers, viki and the twins 1972-74 Today (Words and Music by Minstrels' leader Randy Sparks) Today while the blossoms still cling to the vine I'll taste your strawberries, I'll drink your sweet wine A million tomorrows shall all pass away Ere I forget all the joy that is mine today. Now I'll be a dandy, and I'll be a rover. You'll know who I am by the song that I sing. I'll feast at your table, I'll sleep in your clover. Who cares what tomorrow shall bring. I can't be contented with yesterday's glory. I can't live on promises, winter to spring. Today is my moment, and now is my story. I'll laugh and I'll cry and I'll sing. Today while the blossoms still cling to the vine I'll taste your strawberries, I'll drink your sweet wine A million tomorrows shall all pass away Ere I forget all the joy that is mine today.
