Hi Jacques! Great feature! It always gives me a pinch of jealousy to see you travel over the whole wide world. I hope you will be able to continue this kund of life for decades!! Butchart is heaven on earth. We went only once, and after seeing it in the afternoon, we decided to eat in the nice restaurant there (I had a great pecan-encrusted chicken breast) so we could see it at night. It is magic under sun OR under stars! Search under my name (grzyb) and see a couple of our Butchart pictures as well as pictures of my own garden, if you wish. Thanks for reminding me of this magical place--we're going to stop in Victoria and see it again before hopping a cruise ship to Alaska.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful album. My favourites are the shots where the whole photo is filled with flowers, especially the dianthus varieties. For sure a fantastic garden my friend! I imagine that walking on it you have some plesant and wonderful moments.... a quiet place to enjoy beauty and perfumes of flowers. My favorites are your macros in 4, 42, 54, 56, the carpets of flowers in 11, 13, 17, 85 (perfect walpapers in my opinion), your loved shots 15 (and not so much 87,88 :-) ) and 69, 81, 84. Hi Jacques! What a great garden album, I've to Vancouver, but never to Butchart Gardens! Now I feel sorry! But thanks to your lovely presentation, I can see it in all its splendor. Aside from the flowers and colors which are magnificent, I particularly like photo #7 - it took me a second to realize those are people and not flowers! Very special! They look like some kind of lupines. I like the dancing water jets and the perfect lawn, the Japanese garden - especially #66 and #58 is my favorite - beautiful curves and shadows and a feeling of a gorgeous sunny day. #93 is beautiful too, and the little white dog - so cute! Dear Jacques, thank you for this marvellous visit!!! It's the garden I am in love with without having ever visited it!!!The Sunken Garden shots are magnificent as well as the tree compositions in the Japanese Garden section. #69 and #70 are wonders among wonders!!!I believe if I could I'd choose to live in that garden - maybe I'll get to be reincarnated as a butterfly!Best regards from Gabriela
