East Java volcanoes

i'm honored to be the first to sign this guestbook. this album really took my breath away. pics 25-28 are unreal. that lighting and the landscape combine to create or show a world that is still prehistoric in a modern world. the photos of the people working in the sulphur fields are as incredible as the faces of the people are beautiful. there is so much heart, soul and life in those faces it really makes you think about all we take for granted in our lives. the gecko and dragonflies are wonderful as is this entire album. take care. george-

Hi Steve, As usual your albums are gorgeous, as is this one. I have to admire those in volcanology, an interesting 'sport' or vocation, however. Took a short course and a photo tour of Oregon's east side years ago, finding that just as interesting as this album of yours. Keep shooting, your albums are educational.
