    • Yes, I went to the island of Ballestas off the coast of Paracas, full of seals, Humboldt penguins,Peruvian ##### and pelicans. I did not include pictures of them in the album because the album was, as it is, very long and these birds are not uncommon. Suresh

    • Hello John! This album of one of the most photographed cities in the world, is different. The way you have captured the effects of light and shadows gives the meandering canals and the tall buildings a very interesting perspective. Full flat light often robs a city like this of all its mystery. The shadows lend more dramatic depth. You have achieved this in great style. I have seen many excellent albums on Venice. This would rank among the best. Thank you for all the warm comments in my Peru album. I want you to know that I appreciate them very much. I learned a lot about Peru by keeping my eyes and ears open, reading the web and writing the captions. The country captivated me with its colours and the friendliness of the people. One of these days I must make a visit to the Amazonian region and take a look at the northern part. I love jungles and I am sure Amazon region would just be the place. Thank you once again for spending time on my album. In case you want to write my e-mail is <sk9_9@yahoo.com> Best wishes, Suresh

    • Hi Johnm I love what you've done with the light in these photos. It creates a very different Venician perspective, and works really well. It's a pleasure to be the first to sign your guestbook. Best wishes from Keith in Sydney.
