Hi Kaethi and Henri! What an interesting and educational slideshow. You two are so knowledgeable with history and I appreciate learning a few lessons from you. It was neat to see that your Honeymoon Hotel was still standing even though it was boarded up. I wonder how the rose got there. I loved the photo of the white kitty, but you guys didn't run from the snake screaming like I would have done? :-)) Well, actually I don't always do that! The cave photos are very good. I must enlarge the one photo to see if I can find the 2nd entrance. I'll let you know. Hope you are having happier days this week. Lots of hugs and love, Sharon

Bisous, Llum

Hi Kaethi and Heinz...What interesting photos of the caves again. There was a chapel there and it must have been so long ago. The entrances show things about the caves like where people could hide and never be captured. The view from your room has a lot of nice trees and the mountain is nice too. I like the old fountain. Its nice the old post office is still open and that the railway is not torn down, but used as a gift shop. I image that one house was very pretty at one time and quite grand. It is a shame that so much is closed down. The rose is the strongest thing there I think...it will keep going as long as it can. I think it would have been a pretty little town at one time. But I guess this happens to some places. I am glad you got to visit it again and were able to see some familiar things and all the caves. much love, Barbara

Quel album interessant! Ganz herzlich, Barbara

Hi Kaethi and Henri, What pleasant holiday you must have had! These are beautiful pictures of an area deep in history and yet not trampled by tourists. I seem to recall that this area was reputed to have been one of the resting places of the chalice which Jesus used during the Last Supper. You show many pictures I like, but I particularly liked the picture of the fountain - a simple fountain yet so appealing and welcoming. I also loved that gorgeous white cat. What a beautiful cat! And what great pictures! I've been to France a couple of times, but never outside of Paris. I've missed a lot! Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your kind comments on my Zion album. You're right! Zion and the rest of the Colorado plateau have a lot to offer photographers, but also geologists, archaeologist, and paleontologists alike. You must come back and hike some of its trails.

Dear Henri and Kaethi, I have really enjoyed visiting these fascinating caves but then was saddened to see Ussat as a ghost town is there reason this has happened ? Congratulations to you I think on a big wedding anniversary this year :o) and it was like a bit of history to see your Honeymoon hotel. Thank you so much for your lovely GB entries I always so enjoy reading your very kind comments. Pepper is indeed 17 and as he has had a heart mumur for years, we are so surprised he is still with us. He is however a very old man now and all we can do is make sure he is as comfortable as he can be and let him do what he wants. I still have a weeks worth of holiday pictures from Scotland to sort through but computer problems have slowed me down. Mind you its been good to take my time as I look at the pictures once more its like being on holiday again. Take care now my friends Jill

Hello Kaethi & Henri! So much History here too! It is always interesting to visit these historic places, but it must have been sad for you to see your Honeymoon Hotel and the shops etc all bricked up now. Congratulations on your 50th Wedding Anniversary and may you have many more happy years together. I am pleased you enjoyed my Wildflowers and we are lucky to have so many varieties that are not found elsewhere in the world. Best wishes.. Gladys.

Danke vielmals für eure lobende Worten über Last Days of Summer.

Hello my good friends Kaethi and Henri, What a fasinating story, but however did this place become a ghost town,it must have been very sad for you to see your honeymoon hotel of 50 years ago (Congratulations for your Golden Wedding) in such a state of dereliction, I always wonder what happened to all the people that thrived in the community. Thank you for your very kind words in my GB for the English Pubs, Several of them I have known for years but some were taken whilst travelling through the various villages, and as the Drink/driving laws are it is impossible to taste the wares on offer, its almost loke being in France and having to p#### by all the wine tasting vinery's, sad but sensible. I have been away in Cyprus for the last three weeks so I have been Absent without leave, so I hope you will forgive me for not viewing all your new and updated albums, I will of course in due time catch up with them in the meantime God Bless and and the very kindest of regards, Ken and Carolynn, PS My Album on Nelson as you are well aware is not intended to offend any body French or Spanish it is merely to show the places of his birth and youth for interest, it is also the county of my own birth so naturaly I love the area so much. Liebe Kaethi, lieber Heinz! Wouh! In herzlicher Liebe eure Trixi :-)

OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! !!!!! Dear Henri & Kaethi, I must say sorry to both of you for I have missed this very wonderful and interesting and beautiful album! Great visit, great scenery, great photos, AND TRULY, after I have seen every photo by photo, GREAT SCARY for me! You said the suspicious cat is wondering what the tourists are looking for. SO! You mean the lovely cat is actually seeing lots and lots of tourist. BUT! I don't see any people in any photo of this album. WHAT! Am I really seeing a ghost album? What have gone wrong with my eyes? Perhaps my wife surely won't visit this ghost town! TRULY AMAZING! Thank you very much dear friend for this interesting visit! Big Hugs from your friend, not from the ghosts! CS

Luc
