Hi Jayne, We loved the scarecrow weekend photo's, particularly the clown as he was OUR scarecrow! we are emigrating to New Zealand at the end of August, so we will miss out on the 10th anniversary weekend. Perhaps we can set something similar up in NZ in the future and link up! To anyone who has not visited Belbroughton Scarecrow weekend, what are you waiting for? It's a delightful family day out and the weather is usually kind too! 23rd & 24th September 2006.

I was brought up in belbroughton, my sister painted the original belbroughton village sign, though I expect it has been renewed several times by now...I was baptised and married in the church and that is a lovely photo. i am in Ottawa Canada

Hi Jayne - what fun! This reminds me of the Pumpkin People Festival in Kentville, Nova Scotia; they hold it every fall. ... 'Co-Co the Clown' is a real fence-sitter! 'Fosters Lager' must be some stuff! The 'Dancing Scarecrow Performers' and the 'Morris Dancers' are certainly unique.
