Hee, Tjebbe, jij was intussen in Rome! (Ik moet mijn lijstje met favorieten toch eens reorganiseren 'jammer maar twintig', zoals ze vroeger in Indië zeiden, zodat ik ook jou kan volgen. Bedankt voor je reactie op mijn Toscaanse foto's. Wat die voorbijlopende mensen betreft: ik weet niet ##### dat met jouw camera zit, maar die van mij registreert de opname relatief geruime tijd nadat ik heb afgedrukt. Daardoor lopen er altijd mensen door het beeld die ik er niet in bedoeld heb, als ik op een drukke plek ben (je hebt misschien gezien dat ik me probeer te concentreren op mensen, de laatste tijd). Hallo Tjebbe, wat prachtig!!!!!!!! Je moet een paar schoenen hebben versleten. Voor zover ik iets van je weet heb je daar de hele reis lopen likkebaarden van alle schoonheid die je daar hebt gezien. Hier thuis heb ik met je meegenoten. Wat een prachtige stad, vooral de fonteinen trekken mijn aandacht, maar ook de interieurs, en de beeldhouwwerken. Fantastisch mooie foto’s Tjebbe. Prachtig van kleur en zo helder en scherp ook. Ik heb echt genoten van dit album, van de prachtige gebouwen en fonteinen, waarvan je ook heel mooi de details in beeld brengt, van het Forum Romanum, heel mooi ook de overzichtsfoto’s (34 en 35). Moeilijk te zeggen welke het mooiste is. Hoewel.. nr. 13 vind ik wel heel erg mooi, vooral doordat het licht net even door die deur naar binnenvalt, heel sfeervol.
