Hi Orly! Okay, I WAS the first, but only because I was waiting for it, since you yesterday gave me that hint! Thanks for the hint, I a thirsty for some of your lovely pictures! I like Florence for the wonderful surroundings, for the architecture and for the unique flair. You caught it all in your album. A lot, really a lot of architecture!! I like it how you show those wonderful details! And over all this a lot of 'Orly', your very special views, like those horses in pic#37! Gorgeous! And #38 the close-up of the roofs - peaking in other people 'verandas'!:-) And a lot of PEOPLE for me!!- #14 - The evening at the old bridge, but ever much better: #68 the traditional costumes, #69 the street artist and #15 the guitarist! and #2 at the stairs in front of that wonderful 'all-over' Florence picture! I love it! Orly It sure must be fun to travel with you! You see it all! I bet, when you would be with me, I even would dare to take people pictures of people with and without shirts(!) - as you requested! :-)) - Thanks for that very nice and smiling comment in my locust guestbook! :-) This time I am staying on 'Sukkot' at home on alert, waiting for emergency calls, which hopefully will not occur! חג שמח! גלית

Hi Orly, congratulations on releasing another beautiful album! Florence is a great place to visit and your pictures present this city at its best. Although I liked a lot the architecture pictures, my favorite is the Stree Artist. Enjoy the remaining days of our holidays, Yair.

Orly, you have covered Florence so comprehensively. The shots taken from above, the-birds-eye-view-shots are exceptional. It gives such an overview of the city. Last year I was in Tuscany and spent three days in Florence. Your pictures bring back my impressions. The shots of the Duomo in all its factes, the shots of Ponte Vecchio and of the musician are all so well taken. You seem to have spent a lot of time at the Duomo. The place is worth a detailed study. I am happy that you were able to enjoy Florence in all its glory. Your beautiful album speaks for itself. Best wishes, Suresh

Here I'm my friend :-)! Finally I can look on Web at that shots and it's a beautiful moment (even if I have the originals on my PC :-) ). In effect it's always a pleasure observe how tourists and people from others countries look at our jewels and discover, with their eyes, different points of view and emotions. Now this pleasure is increased by the fact that you are my friend and that I know a bit your experience in Florence. About that .... I remember that in past you had the idea that it was a difficult job take some original shots of this city that is probably one of the most photographed places in the world. Anyway I must say that, instead your CONTINUOUS apologizing :-D , you have obtained a great result ! Many beautiful wide landscapes that I newer see on webshots, interesting details (like the turtle for example), excellent people shots (like the boy with the guitar) and everywhere a visible love and respect for our country and history (I appreciate that attitude so much! Thanks!). Also the views from the bell tower are really good (instead you find in Florence a bit of great heat ....a very common situation in this city) and flying with you over the roofs and our history is a true joy. As usual comments and explanations are usuful and corrects (in this case I can say that with a good sureness) and I hope that this album will receive the visits and the appreciations that it deserve!! My only doubt is about shot 80….. really do you believe that Italian traditional dress are like in your photo? Do you think that during traditional feast we paint our face with silver or that we put over our head hats made by chalk and with the form of a tree? Yes,.... for sure we are a strange people who have its squares full of naked statues with their ##### exposed to wind, but we are not aliens from another planet...... (even if we have developped many rules about pasta, pizza, wine etc etc) :-D A BIG ABBRACCIO from your stupid (and tired :-( ) friend >:D< CIAOOOO Ruggero

Hi Orly, better late than never :-) I Never got a popup for this album, noticed it after I got your email of the blog, congrats on that! It is another great album, love the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio shots as well as many many more! I was in Florence some 15 years ago in the middle of the summer, most memories are about how hot it was there :-) So didn't really feel like shooting pictures a lot, but I of course recognise a lot from your wonderful album. All the best, Mark (are more Italian albums coming?)

Dear Orly. I have just came back from a wonderful trip, and I saw that when I was abroad for a several weeks, you came with a new most beautiful albom. As you know, Italy is one of my favorits. I had stayed in Florens and Toscana dozens times , most for pleasure, and I know every corner there more than in Jerusalem..... You had captured the main center of the magnificent old town, in a perfect way, and I am certain that your short visit had left you with taste and thirsty of more....As you are very good with people, you shuld go next time to the beautiful bazars, the jewish sinagog, and many more places that will fill few more alboms...Any how, this albom is wonderful, and thanks for sharing. Hi Orly, What a wonderful collections of architectural as well as historic images! I particularly like your wonderful and trademark panoramas, especially the one of the old city and the river. I also deeply admire your effort to climb the heights to which you must have climbed to capture some of your images. Congratulations on this beautiful album! Greetings from Florida, Paul.

Hi Orly! I always admire the things that you say and the way you say them. It seems that you have anlimited source of kind words that are always wrapped in a warm and a personalized sincerity. Thank you for all your comments in my guestbook. I would love to get more and more surprized by your talent, and by gorgeous Italian scenery and cityscapes. Glad that you are dabbling with Photoshop. I have a few books myself. When you feel comfortable with it, I recommend that you take a look at a book for advanced users. It is titled Photoshop Masking and Compositing. Author: Katrin Eismann.
