Hi Ran! Thank you for your beautiful message! I'm happy that you had such a wonderful trip. Finally I have the time to view your albums. This is truly a beautiful album of this special place. I enjoyed the canals, the buildings, the details, the masks, and the people's shots are really good too, although - and I say it objectively - Italians are not always very easy to photograph. I wasn't so lucky with the weather in Venice. It was couldy most of the time. I still have many more photos from Italy to download, but some of them needs editing and I don't have so much time. Anyway, I understand your love for this country. My mom and I missed the opening hours of the synagogue in Florecne, but we had a very intersting guided tour of the synagogues in Venice's ghetto. OK, now I'm up to see the other albums from your trip!

Hello Ran from the Shutter_Bug! Love your pictures of Venice. What a classic place. I have been blessed to have visited there on four occassions. I am also blessed by your kind messages about my humble little pictures. :^) I just tell people that I bring the film (or nowadays, the digital sensor) and God does the rest. Take care, my friend. And do not despair over the shortage of people who haven't made you a Favorite yet. All it will take is for the Webshots editors to 'discover' your work, make one of your albums a 'feature' (which your albums deserve) as they did in my case, and visits to all of them will explode in number, and suddenly everyone will know about you. This happened to me on December 15, 2005, and in just 24 hours, I went from being a favorite of 65 members (after 5 years)to nearly 300, and the downloads from a mere 8000 to over 114,000! Believe it, this will happen to you! . It's only a matter of time...
