Hey Sharon, came back for some more trippin' thru your wonderful albums today. Real belated congrats on this getting this beauty featured!!Magnificent scenery! We made a special trip from Vegas once to see Sedona, it started raining so hard, by the time we got there it was so foggy & ugly we couldn't see the car in front of us much less the awesome rock formations, that was a bummer! So thanks for the peek and have a wonderful day, Marita.

#17 are Arizona Sycamore trees, #'s 20 & 30 are Fremont Cottonwoods (summer and fall) and #24 appears to be a Juniper tree. The sycamores I have seen before at Montezuma's Castle (fortunately they were labeled there). The Fremont Cottonwoods are indeed colorful and can be huge with curious branching shapes and the bark is unmistakeable. We have them here in Southern UT. Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon are beautiful places and I wish I had had more time to spend there than I did. Thanks for the reminder! Congratulations on today's feature on the birds. I looked at them and then started browsing around. Jim in Hurricane, UT & Longview, WA

What a wonderful album. I have not been to Arizona and the Sedona area since 1992. This was one of my favorite places other than the Grand Canyon and Tuscan. I need to schedule another trip in at some point. Maybe when I see the southern Utah National Parks. Thank you for sharing. Lynn, Bonanza, Oregon, USA

I love the Sedona area. Have hiked Oak Creek many time. One area of Oak Creek Canyon has an old apple orchard. The deer eat all the lower apples but we took sticks and retrieved some from the top. Delicious. Great work. Caroline Louisiana USA.

Hi Sharon: Just stopped by to look at this "Oak Creek Canyon" album once more. A couple of years ago my wife and I took a hike up Oak Creek Canyon and walked this very same stream. I have pictures from here as well,(complete with Coyote tracks along the stream bed) but, I don't have them in a webshots album unfortunately. This album sure brings back memories. It is so peaceful, and we spent hours there. We love your pictures and a very late "congratulations" on this featured album. Thanks for the memories. Terry/Illinois

Dear Sharon, Thank you for your loving photo album of southwest flora. I visited Sedona in spring of '95 and was intrigued by a small (2-3') shrub-like evergreen with two-tone, cream and mahogany, bark. I thought this was a manzanita but I have been unable to identify it yet. Would you have a picture of this plant or know it's botanical name? Thanking you in advance, DuaneEareckson@msn.com
