Great album! brought back many wonderful memories. I was born here but didn't grow up here,although I had a lot of fun going to Fishermans wharf as a child catching crabs. Thanks for sharing your trip!

Hallo Liebe Freundin! You are a wonderful friend! It's so nice every time I read you! You really make my day. Sleep, eh? hmmmmmmmm... Now that you mentioned the little guy really looks like Rod Stweart, lol. But it is only dandelion seeds! The anthurium against the wall: the place where it was(in my friend Isilda's greenhouse) was a little dark, so, the wall is not really white in the photo but, I preferred to let it like it is to not prejudice the color of the anthurium spike. Now about your San Francisco album: this one of the cities in USA I'd like more to visit. There is an aura involving it. The other one was New Orleans... I guess the Katrina frustrated this wish for a long time... What a pity! first shot is so great... The lights are lit but the sky is not completely dark, is such a wonderful hour of the day! And the tree branches give it such a nice frame. In certain photos the bridge could very well be our 25 April bridge! the shape is quite identical... I loved the photo with the tram! When I think of San Francisco I think of trams, steep streets, Golden Gate, hippies movement, flowers on hats, beautiful houses like those in photo #6, etc. The palm trees cut on the sky color in photo #7 is wonderful. And how funny to have seals so close to look at them! I loved #12, such an idyllic spot really! Even being a scan #13 is a great shot, a very unusual sight of Golden gate, at least for me. #14- WOW! What sky! And #19 too! hmmmmm, crabs... The church in 22 is so pretty! And how cute the little dog in 37, it is yellow?!?! Looks like he was waxed, lol! do you think Otis Redding wrote his song thinking of seals? lol! Great view of Alcatraz in 49! It should be a torture to be there and seeing the city from behind bars... if they could see it! There are lots of high privileged places to look over the city and the river. So beautiful! Really colorful photo #63:) Quite rare... And #73 is a great shot too! Oh God... Some dogs aren't really lucky with the owners they get, lol. Poor fellow... he must feel ridiculous... I love the houses in #89. I'd like to see them inside! And another beautiful perspective of the pretty church... give me a beer please! My friend Marita is paying,lol. The photo of the sail-boat is spectacular! And what a better way to close the album than with a delicious piece of cheese? There is some wine too, to make company? Marita, In your shot "Breathtaking - the Golden Gate", I would have been standing in the Marin Headlands on the left side of the bridge. I hope that answered your question. I am going to do some checking and see if there is a time when the moon will rise through and over the Golden Gate. If I can find it, I will try to remember to let you know when it will happen. Stan

Hi Marita, This is a beautiful album replete with beautiful images from what I think is one of the most beautiful cities in North America. I particularly like your pictures of the seals on the bay. I think it is a tribute to San Francisco that such pictures are possible. It is impossible for me to imagine the same scene in New York, Boston or any of the other large cities on the East Coast.
