  • Hi Jan, love this album! Several years ago I had a bit of a hair-raising experience at one of the overlooks. Some thunderstorms had gone through the area but it was dry at the time. As I walked out onto the overlook I heard a buzzing noise, and as I moved about it came and went. Others in my group could also pick it up, but not as much as I did. Later someone told me that buzzing was a sign of extreme lightning danger. I had no idea at the time, so it just seemed really cool. Anyway, thanks for the wonderful pictures. Jon, Seattle.
